1) There are two version of the Midea Cube: US version and UK/DE/AU version. What I am introducing to you is a testing UK/DE/AU version.
2) For finalized UK/DE/AU version, there will be packed with a drain hose and four removable wheels.
3) For finalized version, customers can press and hold the “POWER” button for more than 3 seconds until the device displays the word “AP” to connect to the Wi-Fi.

What exactly does the smart icon on the app do when turned on/off?
Hi, it seems that after filter removal, the evaporator coils are still blocked by the casing cover. In case the coils get dirty over time just like aircon, how do we clean the coils? My current dehumidifier has a removable filter which exposes the coils and can be easily cleaned with chemicals, brush, then hosed off.

After emptying the tank, how do you get the app to reflect the water collected was emptied? I love the machine but can't figure out how to get the app to reflect an empty tank

I bought and used a Midea cube dehumidifier for removing water from under laminated floors in my house after a water pipe leak and as a prepper I accidentally discovered it to be a great tool to extract water from air if it becomes unavailable due emergencies.

Is this Dehumidifier from the Desiccant type or the old fridge technology type?
Compressor based refrigeration... Great for warm, humid climates. Not so great in cooler locations.
Are you a sponser? Does the company back the product with a good warranty if it fails?
24 months warranty in New Zealand. It’s Working well so far,except I can’t get the wifi connected 😂

No, but you can run it without the bucket. Just set it up to continuous mode
How much heat does this put out?
Stupid question: How do you get the airfilters out? There is no way for your fingertips to gain purchase to get them off...

Heard medea has a huge recall on alot of their products
Think about buying it AGAIN. don’t feel confident with this product after mine failed in 16 months just out of warranty. Anyone here own this working for more than 2 years?
Have 2...first one died after a few months. That was replaced and that one failed 2wks past warranty. These are defective. Midea know they are and replaced the out of warranty one. The 2nd is still under warranty for 6mos. I expect it to fail too. Avoid these and buy a more reliable make.
