Made in France by employees who are paid at the French minimum wage. Here is a video of the French factory: th-cam.com/video/Hv3MB0EBkd8/w-d-xo.html To have a cheaper mini dishwasher, you have to get closer to Made in China, which employs children paid at the lowest price.
Expensive? Yes. Too expensive? Nope. As always, things get more expensive the smaller you make them. Sure, you can get a full-sized dishwasher for a lot less money, but what good is that if you can't fit it anywhere? Buying a new kitchen to fit your regular sized dishwasher in somewhere, now THAT'S way too expensive.
One thing to clarify is that it is made in France. So the price is a little higher than a made in china. Here is a video of the French factory: th-cam.com/video/Hv3MB0EBkd8/w-d-xo.html
You can use regular dishwasher tablets. Just throw them in anywhere with your dishes. But in order for bob to operate, just leave the empty bob cartridge in the unit. I actually prefer the results with dishwasher tablets.
I bought this device with all accesories and it's very useful for daily use and special use like wash 16 glasses in only 20 minutes when you have some visit
Hey, thanks for the video! Did you use cleaning tablets? What is the result? and how where do you place those cleaning tablets? I would really appreciate it if you can answer those 3 questions :)
Wow pretty cool, it is actually really cheap for what you get , would be perfect in my airstream when I am camping . Thanks will definitely look into it
I don't think you can use detergent "tablets", only liquid detergent - at least that's what i gathered from their FAQ (still waiting for my Bob to be delivered).
We have one of these but it's nothing on a full-size dishwasher. 20-minute wash is basically a load of rubbish. Still going to have to let it run for the full 50 minutes if you want any decent results. It's very expensive for what it is even though my partner decided that you wanted this in its link option. It took over a month to arrive.. It's cute it works I still prefer my Slimline dishwasher
Great review! How loud is it when it's in use? Have heard other small ones, and they are very loud. Like, "u have to leave the room" loud, when its in use....
pretty expensive compared to most table top dishwashers, and doesn't look like the water would reach a hot enough temperature to properly sterilise the contents, no amount of UVB will fix that.
Looks like a great device, Chigz 👍💥👍 It seems to work well in your household. We have 3 adult's and 1 Child, so you see our household is a bit different. Although I would love a dishwasher, I'm afraid this one would be a bit too small. And yes, I still wash dishes by hand! 😉
It has a wonderful design, it is smart, and it seems very handy to operate. But it is too tiny, it is unlikely a large pan or pot could fit in it, and those are the items harder to wash, where a dishwasher comes in handy.
Look out with ordering on their webshop because i paid 50.- euro for the UV option but it is not on the machine but they said i didn't order it , but why should i pay 50.- euro extra on the webshop?!?!?!
how long did it take for you to get your bob mini? i ordered mine and it's quite stressing not knowing when it will arrive at my door. 😅 i dont like using that much money online and i'm scared of getting scammed.
Amazing Chigz !!! Another impressive Gadget. It shows the amount of research you have done. Wish it was available in India :(. Are you giving this away :P :)
it washed good but the cassettes needed changing and cost almost as much as the dishwasher itself, also had to use only the bob tablets not any ordinary ones from market. the door stopped closing fully in half a years use, as the metal went rusty. dont recommend sadly
Nice little unit and review Chigz. I didn't know you could use ordinary dishwasher tablets. Handy for a couple but not much use for a family but I guess that's the point of it :-)
Regular tablets would be far too much for this dishwasher. I would break it up or preferably use a powder dishwasher. If you get a lot of foam in the wash, it's way too much detergent and the dishwasher won't clean as well because it's washing with an air-water mix
Am i the only one think it is not practical to wash 6 plates and couble cups and spoons in 20 minutes ? I could do that in 5 minutes manually!! I think washing machines is practical only when you can load all your heavy big dinner dishes and stinky oily bots at once, run the machine and go to sleep!! Am i wrong or someone had another view angle cuz i really don't understand the concept behind this product!!!
Yeh it's better to fill bowl with water, tbh he makes out like it uses less water but in reality if you do them right in a sink it's Easter and better plus uses no extra electric lol plus not things can be washed with cold water too really like cups etc
You already have a dishwasher sitting there - the sink. And it's probably less effort and certainly less expensive to hand wash a few plates in the sink than fart around setting this thing up working to do the same. It's also eating up countertop / drainage space even when it isn't doing anything.
More efficient, less soap, less water, less electricity when you use a dishwasher within reason. This being smaller dishwasher it will use much less of each and also does a better job at cleaning.
@@NoZenith it would take maybe 5 minutes to wash a similar load in a sink. No more effort than to drag this thing out, load it, set it up, and unload it. I doubt it would require any more water either since this thing uses 4 litres to wash / rinse. There are also cheaper countertop dishwashers that would fit virtually any apartment. And if space is so restricted that even they don't fit (e.g. a small boat / rv) then why buy this thing either when it is dead space the rest of the time? It is just an overpriced gimmick.
@@drxym not at all the same thing. This uses hotter water to clean the dishes with less soap than doing it in the sink would. When my parents are around we go through a lot of dishes and then I head to work and end up with a pile of dishes when I get back home. It would make life a lot easier and take off the same or less space on my counter than a dish drainer and I could still use it as a dish drainer if I did want to do some dishes by hand
