This is definitely the model I’m dreaming of! Biggest frame biggest tires. I have an old Ski Doo snowmobile with a 549 that would work good CVT clutch, etc..
Thanks for the tall guy fitment part at ~ 10:30, I feel like you're answering my questions from the FB group where I asked if a 3" stretch would work for tall guys :)
Well there is a builder that has some videos up of his GSXR 600cc VF-1 playing in the dunes... In the plan holder only Facebook group. But I agree... single seat, lightweight overpowered Crosskart with paddles would be an experience for sure!
Back in the late eighties somebody made a 2 piece sprocket that used dovetail joints. I think they were called Sidewinder sprockets. If they still make them it would make gearing changes much easier.
So I wanted to point you in the direction of converting that predator engine to EFI with a speeduino. It's a fun project, very inexpensive to build/implement, and will allow you to have a digital dash.
@@KJRaycing yeah, depending on how you set it up, for sure. Speeduino is a fully tunable ECU that uses Tunerstudio - I run my Miata on Speeduino. If you search for “RobotCantina speeduino predator engine” you can find all kinds of cool stuff they did with their predator engine, including putting it in a car. You could even use it to super or turbocharge the predator engine. I know simplicity is one of the things you like about that kart, so you probably don’t want to over complicate it, but I think seeing what results you could get with this sort of thing in one of your karts would make for a lot of fun content.
@@KJRaycing a properly tuned carb will be just as good. EFI is easier to cold start, is boost friendly, and supports flex fuel. In the end it helps you tinker with it; not necessary but useful.
Morning, I still love the builds and the mods you are doing. What tooth sprockets are you running on the ATV engine and driveline side for the builds?🤔... And you just mentioned it in the video...lol... Stock ATV... 12/38 to 12/49...👍
My grandson is 6'8", 390#, and we want some of these when I get the money. His brother is 6'3", 340#, I'm 6'4", 210 all day long. We want to go on a small desert safari here in Utah. Are the stretch frame models big enough?
Which the rear engine, why do these appear to be nose heavy? Every jump I’ve seen the nose drops like a rock. I’d be concerned that if you hit a really big jump you’d endo!?!?
96 years old? WoW!! Hope i look as good as him at that age and hopefully im out riding or doing stuff like this as well! Love your vids.
Love all your bills and watch all your videos. Never give up making them 👍

There is a bigger frame (the XL) and I can’t wait to put these tires on it!
That looks great can why to build one. Looks like what I was hoping for for the Vf2.
Level of mutual confidence: "You can drive me over with my buggy!" "Hell yes!" 🤣❤
I just discovered your channel. After seeing this thing in hammer mode. I'm already dreaming of my next project.

It was for you brother, if you have that question so do other builders 👍. But you were the one that asked so thank you!
Next let's see a 4x4 2 speed (transfer case?) rock crawler version.
That would be a really cool evolution of these
We gotta see one of the other higher HP karts in hammer mode!!! Lol
I would like to see one of these carts at the dunes with sand paddles .

Awesome!!

Does it improve performance?

Make this one red!
I.NEED.THAT.
I llke it, I like it a lot 😮😊
When are you going to start working on the vf2 again?
Just ordered the brake lines so I can get it driving.
You should build one with a Harley Davidson V Twin.
Hey KJ Raycing I was wondering if I could put a 600cc Honda CBR engine in one of your frames

I’m getting better at answering the future questions 🤣😁. Thanks brother 👍
Hi Do you interested in adding some LED upgrade or a switch panel to your SXS? We hope to do some sponsorship with you!
I have a question. Do you commission any builds?
what is the piece u used to atach the weel hub from? i see its not custom made and i was wondering what is the vehicle u got it from.
The builds are on the channel 👍
Do you think those tires over limit the hubs
Obviously not 😉

I'm not as big as you guys at 6'6" about 225 but I'd be interested to know if I can fit in one of these as well
hey! i'm wanting to build my own crosskart, where do you go to get all the pieces?
Check the description for links to everything 👍

Hey would you want to trade one of the carts for a 2021 yfz450r
What's happening with the busa cart?
Just ordered brake lines.

It’s because there is not a landing ramp. I set these up to be able to jump onto flat ground, it is smooth even though the nose drops.
That's because they're chopping the throttle. It's just like a quad or bike, so if you keep the power on the front stays up.

That looks mean

Find it frustrating been knocked back twice on the Facebook page how do we get deals ideas form fellow cross kart enthusiasts not right 😡
Maybe you should actually build a VF-1 instead of just trying to use all of the ideas from it…
just awesome!
