Cool publicity stunt. I know nothing about cars, but it was painfully obvious this car was stripped of everything but wheels, windows, and the shell.
So what happens next? The truck dumps out a giant scrap cube?

The car appears to be a shell only. You can't see the engine compartment, so an "engine biter" most likely removed the engine and drive line before it was loaded into the hopper.
I don't see the manufacturer replying to any of the comments, so we may never know.

Oh, the gearbox is the size of a lunchbox and always a pain in the ass to get out. Bet its still there :-)

s0nnyburnett if’ the paint is wet it gets all over everything, let it dry out. And used tires don’t compact very good and they don’t decompose too well. They would probably take up an entire landfill within a few weeks
