Found this guy exactly a year ago today, before I had tried to learn before but never could understand it. Something about the Matt McCoy two finger trick was something easy for me to grasp. I'm a year in to playing the guitar and have gained massive skill and confidence while playing. If I could give advice to anyone just starting out I would say just watch this guy and take baby steps don't just jump in. Guitar is one of the best things to ever happen to me and I have this guy to thank for that. Thank you Matt , I won't forget u when I'm famous . Keep on going and God bless you.

About 4 years ago, picked up a guitar at age 55. Extremely frustrated and about to quit when Country Song Teacher popped up. The Cadd9 saved me from throwing in the towel. It changed me. Great advice on learning 1-3 songs and getting comfortable with the changes. I remember a country get-together with several older singers, and they asked Waylon Jennings if he could play a certain song, he said, "Sure as long as it's in G and only has three chords."
