Cybertruck is a product that was designed by Tesla in November 2019. It is a stainless steel, angular, and all-electric pickup truck that became polarizing quickly.

Tesla Cybertruck Is Genius, and Here's Why
As with anything unfamiliar and new, public opinion is always split, but it's not exactly the same on this Tesla masterstroke. Hate it or love it, the Cybertruck is revolutionary. It's clearly designed to be one of the best trucks on the market for commercial and consumer use, especially in the near future.
Without much ado, here's why Tesla Cybertruck is a stroke of genius;
Cybertruck Pushes the Limit
Tesla Cybertruck has pushed some design limits in the automobile industry to the extent that the previously controversial idea had been adopted by industry standards as the norm. This Cybertruck is so bold, extreme, and polarizing that no automobile company would dare to copy the design. In other words, Tesla Cybertruck designs are too unique and represent the high standards the company is known for.
Also, Tesla integrated many technologies into one offering. Cybertruck has the same stainless steel alloy used at Musk’s sister company, SpaceX. The truck has lithium-ion batteries, hardware, and software for self-driving, plus a solar roof choice to boost the truck’s range. According to Musk, Cybertruck isn't designed to blend in, it was manufactured to be extreme and break from the norm.
Exoskeleton
Tesla Cybertruck is designed with exterior shells for passenger protection and ultimate durability. In other words, it has an almost impenetrable exoskeleton, all components are made for superior endurance and strength, from Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel skin to the armored glass.
Polarizing
Polarizing is one of the perks of the Cybertruck and once fully implemented, it could be a great move from the Tesla team. Tesla's limit push with Cybertruck is insane and set to transform the automobile industry. The aim is to break the existing expectation uniquely to pave a path for a great future and a perfect way to break through is via polarizing.
With polarizing, the truck can carry more, tow more, launch much, and can be much quicker. Significantly, it compares in distance traveled per tank at 500 range miles. The commercial, especially the military buyers, have been the main customer base. It arguably beat the Rivian R1T electric truck.
The Cybertruck reaches 60mph in 6.5 seconds, carries 3,500 pounds in base guise, and weighs about 7,500 pounds.
Distinctive Features
Musk’s Cybertruck idea was extreme; to design a truck quicker than a Porsche 911 and stronger than an F-150. His major aim was to have comparative advantages over two prominent products.
The truck's appearance follows one logic. It has an extreme planar design. It has nothing round and has no smooth edge.
The truck's exoskeleton is designed from stainless steel plates made for SpaceX rockets. This enables huge cost savings, and obviating paint jobs with major structural benefits.
Cybertruck can seat six adults.
The built-in air compressor lets the truck outperform the other trucks in the market.
Moreover, the truck's huge battery pack is especially fitted for V2G use.
As hinted, the truck has a 120 volt/240 volt AC power outlet that could power homes at blackouts.
In another vein, because of its size and weight, the truck might be less efficient than the electric passenger cars available now. But when compared to other non-electric trucks, it would be better due to the inherent efficiency of electric vehicles and aerodynamics.
It is important to add that the truck's interior is roomy while featuring the 17-inch signature central touchpad. - บันเทิง

The cybertruck really is genius, since, instead of a full design team working on the body for months, they simply told one of the engineering interns to design a car in a single evening, saving them thousands if not millions in the process

its not the drawing. its the making it. as it stands the profile of the vehicle is actually very smart. Unlike every other utility on the market it does not have a body on frame design. For that it needs a large D piller which is large sloping portion at the back allowing it to hold more weight, be more rigid and gives it better handling than anything a traditional utility that size could accomplish.

If everything is as corrosion resistant as the shell, they are priced right and any battery maintenance cost is reasonable (repair/replacement of cells), this may have have a good TCO in areas with heavy road salt.

Tesla cars are either the most safe or among the safest in crash tests. Why would the Cybertruck deviate from that? The legacy trucks are not particularly safe.

Nope. Just repeats the keywords over & over again. Frankly, the only reason I wouldn't consider this a Tesla ad is because of how badly it's made. Clunky & obvious phrasebook dump. That air compressor got mentioned at least 8 times. It's not like it's extra. One was needed for the air suspension anyway.

Interest rate is currently at 4.75%(8th rate hike since March last year) Inflation at 7% and mortgage rates is at over 7.5% but yet minimum wage remains the same and my retirement portfolio has suffered tremendously these past years, so my question is how do senior citizens retire and live off such unstable economy. The long term game is obviously not for me at this point.
Genius seems to equate to: rust problems, sharp edges, non functioning differential, a frunk that may chop your fingers off, wheel covers that damage the tire, headlights that easily get covered by snow or debris, you have to use a special mode to take it through a car wash or you will void the warranty and the accelerator pedal can get stuck.
Brilliant design. When you accidentally crash into a person, you will split them into two pieces.

I actually half imagine that the breaking of the glass during the demo was intentional. It created FAR more drama / media coverage than any normal release. All I could see for the week after was "Cybertruck glass breaks" articles xD

Won't be worth anything for many until we see it actually do anything Off Road. And I'd like to see some situations and costs if you do hit something under it off road.
I am pretty sure it will stand up to a legacy truck made of aluminum foil. Also it has a high clearance. But like most pick-trups the angles will not be ideal for off road. It is simply too big. Still - I expect excellent off road capability. Let's see what the future reviews will say.
Electric cars can't tow. It's a fun recreational vehicle, but someone who actually needs a practical truck probably wants to be able to tow.
It has a lot of torque, but it's range when towing is going to be atrocious.
@@AageKush That is unfortunately true. Streamlined trailers will be important and I suppose huge batteries will become a thing when the prices go down (could trailers get large batteries installed?)
Also charge stations will have to be changed so you can charge with the trailer hitched.
Something will happen as ICE has its days counted.
@@pierre.a.larsen it's actually not true, with 500 miles range compared to the 250 of the hummer. You should be fine towing anything for 300 miles or so. Supports 150 miles of range per 15 mins. Shouldn't be a problem.
@@iamworthy1302 I hope you are right but I doubt it. It is a matter of efficiency. The Cybertruck is designed to be low drag and very efficient. Not so if you are trailing a boat or a big machine as they for sure are not low drag and probably also have quite a bit of rolling resistance.
OTOH the tow range (even relatively short) of the Cybertruck 500 mile version will be fine for most people. The driving brick, the Ford EV pickup, with its short range, may actually have a problem as its range while towing will be short.
Let's see what the real numbers will show once the electric pickups are delivered and reviewed.
it's the best truck for me. It's easy to draw, it's tough, there is no paint damage when scratched. it can carry superb loads but not truck load. and it is modern.

Not true on durability. Ss sheets are flat sanded by Timesaver machine that sets linier grain pattern. That is called a mill finish. It's a scratch pattern that wears poorly over time. Paint can be replaced but raw SS has to be laboriously hand worked to precisely match grain pattern. Expensive to repair! Delorian tried but it looked lame, not hipster!
It might be the perfect truck for you but I wanna be able to go more than 100 miles before I have to go back home and charge it it’s very inconvenient if you look into the batteries the batteries are also really bad for the earth even worse than the smoke coming out of the cars I also like to hear the sound of an engine and see smoke coming out of the back also having self driving cars is just making people lazy people should be able to Drive cars on their own just like everyone else

The first official presentation goes very smooth and ELON didn’t hold his breath or swear when the glass was gone . He came with smile and said it requires more work, that’s it. Don’t dramatising, it’s really not need it.

It took Elon a bit of time to get back to the presentation, and he seemed to me to be off his stride. He left out some features they had planned to talk about (wing storage panels, lots of space in frunk, bed, and under-vault-chamber for pickup users to carry tools and "junk" handily and securely). He apparently wanted to get the embarrassing broken windows off-stage quickly and get them replaced for the test-rides.
The eventual explanation for the broken front window was that the sledge hammer blows must have fractured the glass panel at the bottom, weakening it. That's possible, I suppose. But it doesn't explain why the rear window fractured. I accept the statement that he was satisfied that at least "it didn't go through". Impact resistant ("bullet proof") glass will shatter in a bullseye pattern if the blow is hard enough, but, if it does its job, it protects the occupants from flying shards and from the projectile itself. That's what it's designed to do, and that is a success. They just hadn't expected (because of their pre-show tests) that it would fracture with that level of impact. They had hoped for an impregnable-looking vehicle.
Reminds me of the SUV vehicle described in 'The last book of the universe' .
An escape vehicle.
Maybe camping option will simply make weekend adventures a nicer/cleaner experience. That's the amount of time people like to go camping for anyway. Just a quick escape.

What I can envision for the future is a fold out solar panel that covers the entire car in the summer, not only taking in the suns energy, but protecting the car like a sunroof from heat!

I’m tired of seeing cool concept cars that get boring as hell on release. Teslas are among the very few cars that feel futuristic or high tech… it’s 2022!!! Why are cars so boring looking still?!
I want more exciting and futuristic cars and this is a major step in that direction, whether beautiful or hideous doesn’t matter to me, it’s different and futuristic which is enough.
I’m glad Elon is brave enough to take big risks like this to push style and tech forward.
If I could effort it I would really want one.. but as far as I have read about, it seems that it won't make it to EU/Germany for Security-Concerns like that the Exoskeleton would not have crumble zones. However, I'm no expert, just excited since I think it looks cool. :P

I really like the fact that you could power your house in a power outage situation. I use my Toyota Avalon for this with a converter running off the battery.

This is a great unit. i wonder if they will make a fuel call model. i have seen a couple of times the traction system did not work in muddy off-road conditions. Note: i do not know the circumstances but I love my Toyota 4 Runner traction on off road and snow conditions. i need to drive one of these unites to make the actual test drive. i do know this vehicle will exceed in value. as stated, it out performer the Ford F-150

If you had a solar panel array and batteries (like Tesla Powerwalls) you could probably charge it with four or five batteries. I think they are about 17Kw per batteries.

The thing about having a hard exoskeleton is that it will damage the other car more incase of a crash and also the humans will have to encounter more force during a crash as the most of the energy cannot be used for breaking the metal/frame so that energy inturn will be used to break the human bones and stuff.

I have a preorder for the tri-motor. They say it will do 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. I have a few old hot rods that can’t do that(450 hp). I also drive an F550 and F250 for work and play.
