The Rimac Nevera takes advantage of the electric motors when driving backwards and has just set a record in reverse of 170mph. Raptor looks like.its standing still racing the Cybertruck. I can see the appeal though for classic truck buyers. It's definitely not a forward thinking vehicle, though, in styling or powertrain.

The CT would probably lose by less than a car but honestly it would be a moral victory because the Porsche from a technological standpoint is only half the vehicle the CT is.

Yeah these truck drag races are pointless. 1 video showing all these results would have sufficed. We need to see some off roading and truck comparison videos.
So the Raptor R is not “real off-roader” enough?
lol yea, actual offroading imo isnt always a drag strip. Would love to see how it stacks up in slow crawling off roading.

They are about the same you probably can get a little more depending on driver but neither beating a cyber truck

th-cam.com/video/Pj2jMhwKuv4/w-d-xo.html
Leaving something for Elon?
the cyber truck would easily win as the heaviest one typically wins in a tug of war...
@Webcrawler45 uh.
Cybertruck is 6700 lbs.
Hummer EV is 9000 lbs
Ford f250 7660 lbs
Ford F350 8127 lbs
Ford Lightning goes to 6800 lbs
Ram TRX 6400 lbs
Ram 2500 7,224 lbs
Etc etc.
Cybertruck is squarely in the middle to lower end weight-wise of all the trucks I'm sure it'll be tested against offroading, etc. So testing it in tug of war would be fun to see. It's not nearly as heavy as people seem to think given how big SUVs and trucks have gotten. Escalades can go to 6200 lbs!
Who all wants carwow to recreate tesla's ad a cybertruck towing a 911 beating a 911
I hope they do becuase it's been exposed already that the video shown was just 1/8th mile. So doing a real quarter the base 911 would win

No I don't think it's impressive becuase we didn't get to see what happened once the instant acceleration advantage of EVs was not a factor anymore. The base 911 was starting to pull ahead then they ended it before we even saw the full potential of that model. Thats a joke in my eyes.

The Rimac Nevera takes advantage of the electric motors when driving backwards and has just set a record in reverse of 170mph. In all fairness to the CyberTruck you don't need to go backwards quickly in it and quite frankly it would be hella dangerous having a stainless steel tank reversing anywhere at higher than 15 miles per hour.
Carwow with the killer content 👍 🔥
I can see Mat is enjoying putting the Cyber Truck Beast against all truck competitors, I don't think there are anymore after the Raptor R. In spite of its weight, that Raptor R moves like the wind and with that awesome exhaust note to boot. I can see "Racing Driver" Sam despised his mini cowboy hat, but it added a little element to the video, his southern accent at the end of the video was better than Mats. Thanks for the awesome video content Mat.
Raptor looks like.its standing still racing the Cybertruck. I can see the appeal though for classic truck buyers. It's definitely not a forward thinking vehicle, though, in styling or powertrain.

The Raptor sounds nice
I would be interested to see what the Tesla Cybetruck is like off road as that is what the machine was built for in the first place. I also would be interested if you could put it up against the Land Rover Discovery or something off road.
Well, think of which pick-up truck has the most ground clearance, 17 inches vs. 13.1 inches. That should help answer your question for a start.
It wasn’t built around off road. It was built to harness new tech for Tesla. And be a grocery car for Bay Area..
@@ssing7113 Like most Defenders and Range Rovers; that being the grocery part for, substitute in any wealthy suburb anywhere in the western world.
@@reximperatur1146 The CT would lose hands down. You can even see it in their own "Baja conditions" video. They test it on flat dirt roads, and you can see the CT slowing down over the rough stuff. . That’s where you’ll see the cyber trash break.
These drag races are like taking a McLaren and a Corvette off roading to determine which car is a better sports car, it makes no sense. We all know electric cars are quick, a drag race isn’t everything, and last time I checked, people who use trucks for actual work don’t gaf how fast they are in the quarter, nor do they go around drag racing their work trucks.
@@angryrabbitproductions1690 Fun fact: The CT uses an adaptive air ride suspension (air bags) compared to the racing bypass oil shocks like the Raptor has. Just because you read a thread online, doesn't make you an expert nor does "tuned in Baja" make it true. Link me up an article that shows the actual terrain they used to "tune" the CT. I promise you, it didn't include 2-3 foot whoop sections at speed.

@@supertemplar3340 It's been mostly put against other trucks. And some of the fastest ones available. Do you know of another truck faster than CT? @@jamesfynnhere6983 so true. I have a Model Y and my previous car was a Golf R. I was impressed with the wet weather traction of the Golf, until I got the Tesla.
