@@joshnewman6667I'm sure that was a joke lol noone is that dumb too believe he's the reason 😅 the reason is because as years pass they increase in value 😮
I love that you keep the collection inside the working place, your crew worked hard on getting some of those games, and furnishing your shelves with those crazy finds is pretty wholesome, a collective quest!
Always liked this channel. Some video game resellers can be the very definition of cringe, but Chase never yells, screams, or acts like an idiot for views. Respect.
Brother Dave and Sky Guy doing the $10 challenge was the highlight of your vids of 2023 for me. Al Pal and his amazing growth on ebay as well. Those guys really inspired me to take my biz to the next level. As an ebay 'everything' seller that stuff is my Jam. Just churning through giant collections of sealed video games and massive whatnot video game sales - not so much. Congratulations on your amazing 2023 and good luck in 2024!
Hi Chase it's crazy it's been a year since the game barn was built it seems like just yesterday you were talking about it's amazing how fast time flies can't wait to see how the game barn grows this year 🙂
It has been such a joy to watch you guys grow your business over the years. I still never miss an episode. May God bless you and your families in 2024 and beyond!
I enjoyed the barn build progression. Odd question I’ve thought about: Working with friends can be amazing and tough at the same time. Wondering if you have any boundaries in place to protect friendships and stay professional. It’s awesome to see you hire your friends and I hope it’s something you can continue to do! Great job to all!
Cool question - This is Thayne, and I’ll answer the question purely from the perspective as a “fringe” member of the team and longtime friend of Chase. One of the most underrated and under realized aspects of Chase’s character is his true and consistent focus on serving with humility and integrity. He approaches the business from a place of true partnership and teamwork with his guys. He leads in a way that is collaborative while still maintaining clear focus and direction for the business. He shapes the business and each of the crews roles to compliment their God given gifts and passions. For example, Matt is a engineer by training and highly capable with processes like 3D Printing; so Chase has evolved the business by leveraging Matt’s skills to create mounts and holders for various items around the barn and to sell online! The dudes all have a clear grasp of their areas of responsibility and influence and work together to see the whole business win. Chase maintains an ability to always evaluate and always get better. Get better as a business, get better as a boss, and get better as a operation! Good leadership + Good communication = successful team! Working for Chase is rarely “tough” just because he really values what each of those dudes bring to the table and how they contribute to the business growth. Hope that helps shed some light?
Wow all sealed good job guys and in a few months Chase won't have no room upstairs to walk. Your going to have to expand which we all know you will when it makes sense and dollars. GREAT JOB guys and God bless all of you!!!!!
Hey Chase and Crew! I first heard of you guys last year right after I attended SEGE. I actually remember seeing you all filming and didn't know who you were, but then realized after watching your videos from the event. Love your content, looking forward to another great year!
I LOVE the name Handheld Hunt. You gotta use that name for the series! Congrats on a successful 2023 and here’s to an even more successful 2024 Chase! 💪💪👊💰😊
I love CATRP, the crew, the vids and always look forward to new content. My only criticism with the videos is that as the years go on they’re feeling more and more like infomercials as opposed to fun entertaining gamer vids. You guys are AD CRAZY and as a viewer feel like I’m constantly being sold something, which cheapens the content for me. I think most of us would love it if you could dial it down on the sponsorship and mentioning of affiliate links, etc. I understand this is an important part of your business model, but daddy chill. All the best!!
Appreciate the feedback! It’s always a delicate balance in the social media world; as we have several team members dedicated to consistently creating content, those advertisements help us ensure they’re well compensated and we can keep putting our free content for you to enjoy! We understand that ads can be challenging, our hope is we find a way to “be ourselves” and promote applicable products that bring value to our community! Keep feedback coming!
@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice the quality of your content that you’re creating is suffering. If your ad revenue is paying for the extra help, it’s not helping the viewer experience.
You guys are legends and the business just keeps on growing.must be nice to work with your buddies everyday and be so close to home, one might say-living the dream 👌🏼🚀
I remember finding your channel. Insane finds for stupid cheap. Like the one that had the whole tote of games that grandpa bought for you at a sale. Another one where you bought the gamecube from the house across the street and the actual house on the posting was selling one too. The one where you announced the twins coming soon with the little onsies. Its been an insane journey! I love the behind the scenes stuff.
When I packed it up those (new/clean) trash bags had air in them. Homemade bubble wrap. Looks like they deflated 😮. The second package I sent has a ton of bubble wrap in it though 😁.
I’m newer catrp sub but man 2023 was awesome. I really got into the pokemon pursuit vids. I bought some great games off the whatnot including a Pokemon crystal. Looking forward to the big moments in 2024. I think the next goals for Whatnot should be $250k in a weekend then $500k in a week.

I would love to see the whole crew do some more garage sale contest again, go back to the OG! Also I think you should do a challenge of some sort with retro Rick and phoenix resale, you all can just to a collection and/or sales in your home towns only over the course of a few weeks and then all see who can sell the most at the same convention!!!! Great long term content! I love the pursuit challenges!
Very impressive collections. Although I’m not a Gamer, I do have my own collections. My most favourite videos for 2023 were Hobby Shop Ron and the Gaming Convention Buy Outs. I’m looking forward to your successes and growth through 2024 and beyond. Keep Sellin.
Love your videos, I have a few rarities you dont have, a t shirt from a Sega master system tournament and a jumper with the "do me a favour ..." from the same tournament, plus handpainted artworks, plus some zx spectrum development code on ROM carts
Hey Chase, I was wondering how you handle adding games that are bought through the business to your collection. Do you pay the company out of your pocket or is your collection loosely owned by the company and adding to it is just like putting it in a display-style storage?
For those of you in the US who don’t know eBay’s global shipping has been auto opting out UK buyers you need to manually add us back to each listing. Losing out on so much revenue.
Can't remember the name of the older man that sold you that huge collection from his store. The trains the knives etc. He was so cool and the interaction was fun to watch. Good things happen to good people. Peace and Good Health.
I would like to see you take the game barn to the next level, join the game barn to the storage barn. Add a whatsapp studio and dedicated repair area for fixing and processing before moving into the game barn for sale.
I need more of this content I am a new subscriber. I would like to see you do a 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 multi video series. Something We can look forward to every week.
I actually only found your channel because of Caleb of Phoenix Resale fame. I know lame, but i binged everything in about a month and feel like I'm part of the journey now!
I always like the competitive hunts you do with the team and your grandma. You need to add some loser rewards, like playing the worst rated game, etc. Also, the videos the team did with starting an eBay business from nothing were great. Thanks for the content.
QQQ?? - have you really played all the games that you talk about? I know this is going to sound odd - but I enjoy watching the whole CATRP crew go totally nerd with everything you do to keep your business thriving. I had no idea that this type of games garnered so much value and following. I rarely played video games as a youth (way before my time - kind of) but I did have an original pong game that I sold at a garage years ago (wish I would have saved it). Stay safe.
I knew a guy who would reseal used games and sell them as “brand new sealed”. Resealing machines aren’t that much money and the process didn’t seem that hard. I’d be questioning buying a lot of “sealed games”. 🤨
I’m trying to find an old super Mario world strategy guide magazine that I got years ago in a grocery store and it wasn’t Nintendo power or Game Pro. It had a grey border around the front of the magazine and was $29.99 back then. Can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction on where to maybe find a copy? I’ve been searching for months now!! Thanks in advance!! It’s the SNES Mario World btw!
I don’t have a consistent link. I found good replacements once on Amazon but they were 12-15 each, and you had to buy 8 I think? If I see them on sale for $10 each I get them. hard to get good ones
So what youre saying is....... Build ANOTHER barn? :D hyped for the wotc decks on pursuit, have you checked any of them to see if the base ones may be shadowless? ( not necessarily to open, more so to know :D ) .
