@@ChaseAfterTheRightPricewish u could buy stuff from England have a n64 with a few games and my Nintendo cube with about well over 80 games just sold a limited zelda game £33
Some random thoughts on the Pokemon collection room to keep the collection in A1 condition: air conditioning/climate control to keep mold at bay, no direct sunlight to prevent fading of colours on boxes/pieces, no outdoor shoes to minimize dust. You probably have got all of this or most of this covered already.
@@sxnses The items are going to sell for their asking price at the garage sale no matter what. Why does it make a difference who buys them? If the seller looked online they would have sold online. Quit being a nerd.
Theres nothing wrong with paying someones asking price, but when that guy brought out the N64 with games mint in box you should have offered more. Clearly he didnt want to bring the stuff out and you pressured him and lowballed him. At least give the man $200. You would have still made a massive profit.
If someone says that's what they want for it I wouldn't expect someone to throw more $ their way when they see everything. For him to make a blind offer of $100 thinking it would be a 64 with some games and it turns out to be what it was I think it reflects better on ya if ya throw the guy an extra 50-100. If you're not putting stuff out there on TH-cam then who cares but when you're showing it to whoever wants to see I would be a little embarrassed. That's why my favorite guy to watch is Froggy. Sometimes he goes a little too far with the generosity but no way Froggy wouldn't have given more after seeing what an amazing score it was. But ultimately if they can sleep just fine at night keep doing it the way they do. They're doing damn good for themselves & at the end of the day that's all that matters...not what I think of anyone else
There's nothing better than asking for games near noon and not hearing you're the *insert random number here* person who has asked for games today. Just keeps motivating you to hit more since you don't know what the next sale will have.
The sale you found those Oakley’s at you may have missed out on a big score. That singer featherweight sewing machine can go for big money depending on the model. 221ks go for $400-$600 and the 222k can go for double that.
I’m just thinking of all those game cubes I passed over 12 yrs ago because they weren’t worth Jack squat, now I can’t even remember the last time I even saw one, video games are scarce by me.
I could never ever pay someone only 100$ for those boxed games. Even at a garage sale. Its our responsibility to pay them a correct percentage of the value as professionals. If they already have it priced thats another thing, but to only offer 100$ is really a slime ball move. Honesty will go a long way.
I started watching this channel, and subscribed, because of the Hobby Shop videos. You really did a great job shooting those videos. There remains, however, a huge amount of unresolved mystery regarding a huge amount of what was bought in the process. I'd love to see a video where you start to deep dive into the mystery boxes, get some antique specialists in to appraise the items, and give some resolution to the viewers regarding the more obscure items that were obtained. We know you bought trains and Hot Wheels, but you didn't even really touch upon the Star Wars items or give us an idea of what exactly was found. Total lost opportinity since that's one of the biggest toy franchises of the last 100 years. More Hobby Shop Ron, please.
Since you are diversifying the products/size/shape/conditions of items sold, you might want to look at bar coding items so you do not duplicate your time later. Assign a unique identifier even as early as when you pick them up at the garage sale and definitely before you store them in a location. Store the bar code on the packaging (if it has one), basic info like size/weight/ sale price WAGS, or even personalized categories like hold, research more, or sell fast/easy sell. Just thoughts, I am sure everybody tells you how to run your business. Just think about what you do multiple times to increase your efficiency.
So the condition good and the boxes are minty and you give him $100 wow maybe this will make ppl think twice about doing business with yoh cause wow that crazy
Crazy video with crazy finds and purchases! Last year(2022) was one of my craziest years of pickups, I would say that 90-95% were on the ask. I can't say that I've ever been invited into someone's basement yet.
You guy's are so lucky you live around so many clueless people. I feel bad for the seller's for not doing minutes at most of research on their items to protect themselves from all the scummy resellers.
This is my first video ive seen on your channel. I really love it and its awesome to see your also a pokemon collector. Your room is sweet!! I wish the sales were like this in Pennsylvania.
Gutted I missed whatnot 😢😢 I've only just back from vacation 😢😢. That's got to be in your top 5 of garage sales ever👍👍👍 I'd say no3. When's your next whatnot sale? You guys are fantastic, pleasant young men. It's how you come across to people that gets your your deals, it's not luck. Yet again weldone, I'd be proud to call you my sons, you all get on very well because you all have brilliant manners.👏👏👏👏👏 mx
Y'all using my strategy when there's neighborhood sales going on. I usually stick to the outskirts of town somewhat away from the neighborhood sales because I know far more people are going to those sales.
People running out of money to buy collectible and try to flip.. it tells you one thing that conomy is slowing down.. it's been slowing down here in Vegas for the past 3 months
I spent $200 on about $20k in high end work clothing. Spent $50 on 5 boxes full of old big box floppy games , made over 15k. Paid .10 for a $2k 14k solid gold pocket watch. I have countless stories like that. Made a lot on video games, have huge in box games like Chrono on Snes , can’t even name them all. Jewelry , clothes, tools. All big hitters.
The thing about these garagesale business-esque things is that they only work in north america. Who wouldn't love doing this as a side hustle? I have a challenge for you, come to Europe and try doing that lmao
This is the last straw for me. Its one thing for joe smoe to scoop up a deal like that for a $100 and take the huge win but the fact that youre also making money from the views is where you need to step up and do the right thing. Business is business but what goes around comes around so just remember that.
This was incredible to watch. I can't say I've been hitting garage sales like I used in the years prior to covid, but I know that there will be that one amazing find by the end of the year. Will it be like last year finding Pokémon Emerald with a few other GBA/GB carts for $5; probably not, but here is to hoping.
Those Lord of the Rings boxes reminded me of the Aragorn carded action figure where the entire bubble was placed upside down on the packaging. I should look in my storage for it. I bought it at the store like that.
Good to see other Michiganders on here killing it. We are from downriver, just south of Detroit. What part of the mitten are u guys hitting in this video?

Last week I got into a basement to check out guys VHS. He had 11 boxes of them and allowed me to dig through. Unfortunately about 50 of the 100 I wanted had mold so I only got 50. I felt weird being in a strangers basement by myself because he still had to go up and work the garage sale. Oh well, I went quick and got out with some awesome goods. I should have recorded it.
Please do a behind the scenes look at processing this glorious loot

Excited to see the breakdown video on this one. Crazy day! Congrats
I love that, on every video, Chase tells us "how long he's been doing this for"
Wow, just wow. Truly a day to be envious of. Great work. The reward seems to be nice also. Look at the collection grow.

Wow you guys did so well! I still can't believe the little amount of other resellers in the same area, it was definitely meant to be haha
