It's sad to see GC will be 'alone' after this. I really like to watch this duo reviewing cars. They are very natural, funny, and really honest. Can see their happy faces doing their jobs too. Well, the grass is always greener on the other side. Good luck Matt! And for GC, you're still the best reviewer out there!
Rauf Husin thanks for the suggestion. Yes because I watched the review n test drove it myself makes me buy the Outlander. I am happy with the Outlander I purchased. Besides the 3rd row most of the time is folded down. It suits to my needs n price range. Im not a fast driver. Not everyday we carry 7 person in an SUV. I know im not.

But sometimes I regret it. It was still a monster, no rust, no suspenssion problems, no engine OR trans sounds Overall a babe

@@nooriziddinabdullahbinghaz1366 thanks for sharing! I'm very close to getting an outlander.. I've tested all the suvs available in Malaysia Market too... I wouldn't regret getting an OL right??
I'm considering buying a used Outlander. A 2020 model, however, only as a petrol engine and not as a hybrid. Are you still happy with yours? Can you tell me a little bit about reliability? Thanks in advance
Even though i agree with most of the weakness of Nissan X-Trail as shown in this video, i still think that this video is more into advertising Mitsubishi outlander than review..It seem like show the good thing of Outlander, but actually they just make confusing to consumer. For example, the way they sit at the 2nd row showing the gaps between head and top of the car then only comment is totally different between 2 cars, and the way they shown the space in 3rd row is different..Please go and check yourselves for both car and test drive yourselves rather than believe all the comments here, than you will know what i mean
How good are the back seats on long trips? I mean if the adults are small and they fit in well are they comfortable on long trips in terms of the suspension? I think the bumpiness at the rear seats are a multiplies compared to the middle or front seats?
really good choice, AWC 2019 models are super affordable on the used market since new 2020s come with S-AWC standard ( Ihad 2008 and now 2019 AWC and it's still really impressive)
Nice video .Mitsubishi is always my choice so I recently got myself 2023 outlander. But I love the reactions of the guy in the Nissan..he's so funny..😅
My X trail hybrid 2016 have front emergency braking, front and rear sensors, heated seats,360 camera, nissan connect and 4wd drive system with 6 airbags.X trail>outlander
You both did a great job and are very entertaining as well. The Nissan's interior and dash looks more like a mini van IMO and I am not that crazy about an SUV that feels like a van. The Outlander's interior is much nicer. Both have a nice exterior but I think the Outlander out shines the Nissan. My choice is the Outlander, hands down! The third row in both vehicles are equally just so so, but I think they are meant for children so I would never put an adult back there unless I absolutely had to. I do prefer the Outlander that is offered in the US because the dash is even better, it come with a standard 2.4 liter engine and has S(super) AWC in lieu of the standard AWD.
In my country, I am from Bulgaria - Mitsubishi Outlander -the top level is about 35 - 37 000 euro with security pack and panoramic roof. Nissan x-trail in the second level(there is four level here) has panoramic roof and its very well build for this level -this is about 27 000 euro, so you need to pay only 800 euro more for extra 3-rd row of seat. The top level is much cheaper -about 31-32 000 euro. There is difference between two - Outlander is more expensiv for the some build quality -is about 6- 7000 euro more. There is reason why Nissan sell more x-trail -the best selling car in mid-size segment for 2017 -more then 850 000cars they sell.
It’s really nice that your review covers all of the features of the vehicles. However, it would be nice to see real world testing with timed acceleration and most importantly real off-road testing. Otherwise I really like how you both take turns at each feature being reviewed.

It is still a mystery of why TCM has decided to only offer two airbags across the range for the X-Trail. It is understandable that their selling point is the 7 seaters configuration but this has been pointed out by many people that it is in fact, 5+2 and not as per advertised. Now, the fact that it is the best-seller SUV in the era preceding the latest CR-V is rather worrying since other SUV in the market of the same generation are better equipped in terms of safety e.g. the older CR-V and Sportage. It is imperative for prospective owners to demand more on safety rather than all the bell and whistles of which won't be as exciting anymore beyond the first few months of ownership.
I hate Outlanders backseats. When it comes down to comfort and reliability X-Trail wins easily. I drove both of these cars and also CX5 and Kia Sportage last week. 1. CX5 9.5/10 2. X-Trail 7.8/10 3. Sportage 7.5/10 4. Outlander 6/10
