@@Noctem_pasa in the myths there are several "god" races, on of the worst war is the fight between Asen (Odin) and Wannen. One could translate Odin into the angry one, the Asen are symbolizing more violant men/warriors, the source of power were military regimes and so on. The Wannen are considered to be the female side, which would be something about fertiltiy and magic, the Wannen are known to have to strongest witches. In newer myths Odins wife is freya, who is not from the asen, but from the wannen, and therefore a powerful witch. In the older myths odin is married to frigg an asen, but also there freya is considered to be the highest female god after frigg. In both ways odin had really good connections to witches.

The Reality Stone wasn't on Midgard. They left it hidden on Svartalfheim, thinking they had killed all the Dark Elves. Asgardians tend to leave the stones where found. The Tesseract was in Asgards possession, as it was used to help build the Bifrost, until it was left hidden on Midgard. Odin knew using the stones would just bring unwanted attention and temptation to use them.
Was gonna say that. We don’t actually know where the Reality stone was hidden, just that it can’t be on Midgard/Earth due to how the realm portals work in the film. I don’t think they got ahold of the Mind stone due to its location inside the Chutari sceptre. To me it feels like a member of that race discovered the stone encased in its blue amber/rock and then used it to conquer their home world and build an empire which would then become a part of Thanos’s forces as a formidable army of soldiers all linked into a hive mind and connected to their general who controlled them.
Adding into that, the Asgardians know how dangerous it is to keep two infinity stones in the same place. They were so scared of both the Reality and Space stone being on Asgard that they sold the reality stone to the collector. Therefore, I seriously doubt that they would of left the tessseract on Earth hidden away in Norway if they had known the Time stone was already on that planet in the care of the sorcerers.
*I believe it. I think I can add on it too. I think Odin is the reason Thanos didn’t go after the stones himself. That’s why in the post credits of Thor Ragnarok (the movie where Odin dies) we first see Thanos going after the stones himself. He somehow knew when Odin died. So, while Thor is fighting to get off of Sakaar and then battling Hela on Asgard; Thanos gathers his forces, destroys Xandar for the power stone & then finds Thor w/ the Tesseract.*
I get the feeling that Odin in his prime might be one of the few that can go toe to toe against Thanos. Not a surprise that Thanos waited for Odin to shuffle off and figured that Hela would be taken care off due to Ragnarok.
While that sounds interesting, Thanos has been on a quest to get the infinity stones a long time. He helped loki with conquering earth by giving him the scepter, once conquered, he'd have asked the tesseract and the scepter back. We also see that Thanos ordered Ronin to go after the Power Stone in Guardians of the Galaxy. Thanos has been going after the Infinity Stones for years, he just let others do it for him. But when that didn't work, he decided to "Fine, I'll do it myself" So no, Odin isn't the reason he waited to gather them. I do believe that if Odin were to meet Thanos, there'd have been a serious battle between the two.

It's no coincidence Gorr from Thor's Love and Thunder and Thanos wanted the powers of Eternity to have their way . Thanos just thought it was easier chasing the stones.

For those who think Thanos was the first to collect all six stones, the Celestials once had all six. They or someone who defeated them probably hid the soulstone but the Celestials were probably all in the same place with all six stones before Thanos
@Randy Candelario we have MCU canon for that. The Celestials have been pictured with the stones and mentioned several times that they once ruled (or terrorized) the universe with the stones. Equal to Thanos? I didn’t make that claim because power is irrelevant to this. Thanos is a Titan though, which are descended from Celestials so by nature are less powerful. Like Ego and Star Lord.
Couple things that may support this is tesseract sent red skull to vormir, and the eye of agamoto and the spear both resemble the same gold uru as the gaunlet, odins spear, and odens armor.
I think Odin assembled the 5 stones but couldnt sacrifice Hella for the soul stone. The gauntlet was real but Hella dismissed it as fake as she might think it didnt worked but she didnt know that inorder for that to work, Odin needs to sacrifice her. Also a good theory is that the design of Odin's gauntlet was the basis of the elves to follow to create one with Thanos. Notice that MCU need to vanish Odin before the start of the Infinity war because Odin knows too much about it and might be the biggest threat to Thanos in completing his plans 🤔🧐
it doesnt make sense that odin was to "soft" to sacrifice hela. he used her to conquer what he wanted and then locked her away, that doesnt seem lovely. If he would ban her anyways why not sacrifice her already? sure it could be cruel for him, but it also would have meant that he would have to fight less, kill less and so on. and odin is known to do whatever has be done. he sacrificed his own eye for the greater good/his ambition, as he did with his children and his friends/fellow gods.
This is one of the best theories, because how do you think Thanos knew about making a gauntlet to contain the power of the infinity stones. Odin had a similar gauntlet made by Eitri the dwarf from Nidavellir. More than likely, Odin promised to protect Nidavellir for that particular reason.
I've long thought the bifrost was of Asguardian design based on the magic/technology of the tesseract. Don't know where the other stones come into it though
I think Odin had all the stones and conquered the 9 realms to get them. He got the soul stone in sacrifice of Hela's mother. Once he had all the stones, either he encountered an Omega that put him in his place seeing the stones won't help; or used the time stone and saw them lose everything. He hid the stones and told Hela who went on a rampage because Odin killed her mother to conquer the universe and now they weren't going to do it.
Odin definitively collected the Space stone and probably used it in his conquering time with Hela before building the rainbow bridge. The Reality stone was known to him. He could have commissioned Nidavalir to make the puzzle ball of the Power stone after stopping his conquest. the origin of the scepter containing the Mind stone loki wielded when invading earth is uncertain. As for the Time stone, it all depend if he met Agamoto. But yeah the price for the Souls stone probably was too steep and even if he did complete the collection of stone it wouldn't be him but Hela with the gauntlet.
Assuming Ebony Maw was correct no one has ever weilded more than one but I do believe Odin started to gear up and knew where many were but chose not to
If Odin had 5 stones then taking Hela out would've been child's play, and wouldn't have required the sacrifice of the entire Valkyrie force. The tesseract came from the frost giants, it was the piece that powered their civilization and Odin took it after winning the war. I don't think he ever had the power, time, or soul stone. He could've had the power stone, but I don't think he even needed it as he was already the strongest being in the galaxy. Then again he could've had them and that's how he might've eventually locked Hela away, who knows. Maybe one day marvel will go more in-depth on Odin's life.
Wait this made me realize that Loki had such a huge effect on the avengers. Captain America was injected with the serum to counter the red skull. The red skull took his serum to be the best human or whatever (now I’m quite forgetful but from what I remember) and wanted to find the tesseract for more power. And he knew of the tesseract because of the Norse legends that (what I’m guessing) were made from Loki and Thor coming to earth and messing around
I think it more likely that he would have collected the Soul stone but by doing so it made him realise what he had become. I mean where is Hela's mother? I'd assume the Time stone would have been the hardest to get as the wielder, Agamotto or which ever Sorcerer Supreme after him could have just pulled the Dormammu time loop thing.
Well the biggest question should be how did Odin have an exact replica of the Thanos infinity gauntlet made by Eitri before it even happened? Is it a souvenir stolen from the TVA or did Odin have the time stone before the Ancient one ?
this video reminded me one thing that I could never understand about End Game... When Avengers planned their heist they were shocked that 3 powerstones were at the same time in NY, but if you think about it closer you'll realize that they technically could have access to reality stone as well, yeah it wasn't technically in NY or on Earth even, but they had access to it, Thor knew exactly where Jane was when she made contact with it, and somehow I believe taking it back then would be little bit easier than taking it from someone's living breathing body...
The most likely possibility is that they would somehow use the same tech that renders all magic worthless in the tva headquarters on the stones as well.Maybe the 'he who remains' may interfere and provide such a weapon in these scenarios.
How about each episode of Loki being an Infinity Stone? 1: Completely orange and Loki has a Soul, 2: Alot of red and Loki doesn’t know who to trust in Reality, 3: The purple hue of Lamentis-1, Loki & Sylvie showing their Power, 4: The most yellow it’s been because Lady Sif is in his head and Loki is changing people’s Mind, 5: The green hue surrounding each loki and their power, Loki sees himself in different variations from Time, 6: The blue hue of the universe, The Space time continuum collapses into the Multiverse.
There was a cool theory that Odin was the one that hid the Soul Stone and created the safeguard that required a sacrifice to access it. It revolves around how the energy release after Gamora was sacrificed looked like the bifrost. That means it is possible for Odin to have acquired the Soul Stone without needing to sacrifice anyone. It also explains how Heimdall might have gotten his power to see all the souls in the universe. I’m sure I saw this on a TH-cam video. So I’ll have to credit someone else for this theory.
'He was able to obtain the stones and use them with Hela at his side, meaning he was able to have Hela at his side while he used the infinity stones' bro REALLY needed to finish his 3,000 word count essay
Variation of your Soul Stone Theory - What if what caused Odin to be a "benevolent king", as Hela put it, was that he would have had to sacrifice Frigga who was pregnant with Thor to get the Soul Stone. Hela stated Odin one day changed and wanted to be a "benevolent king, to foster peace, to protect life, to have you (Thor)." Odin was unwilling to sacrifice Frigga or Thor (in womb). Hela saw this as weakness, and the end result was Hela banished. This would give more understanding to Thor and Hela's thrownroom scene. Especially the words "to have you" as Hela stated. How would Hela have the knowledge to say this unless Thor was in some way the sacrifice Odin was unwilling to part with.
What if Odin sacrificed his eye to taste of mimir's well of knowledge? (Soul stone). He didn't have a guide. The sacrifice alloted the soul stone to grant him knowledge. Perhaps this was the change that caused him to turn his back on conquest. Also Thanos did not start really pursuing the stones till after Odin's death. Perhaps he was waiting and scheming behind the scene in fear of odin
I agree the soul stone stopped him but I'd add one factor; Odin's gift of foresight. Odin may well have known 1) that the Infinity Gauntlet would be the doom of Asgard ("all magic has a price"?) and 2) that he would not be the defender but rather that his heir would be the crucible upon which the fate of Asgard and the universe relied. In testing Hela, he may have found her wanting (she lacked the empathy to restore the universe being the Goddess of Death) and he could not commit Filicide to advance Thor to heir, so he had to banish her. This would also explain the countless chances that Thor received as well as his disappointment in Thor. And he lacked the heart to banish another son to advance Loki to heir... particularly given Loki's flaws. This might be WHY the "worthiness" clause on Mjolnir is so defining... Asgard needed a WORTHY defender for the Infinity War... and why Hela and Loki were both sidelined.
It's possible that he actually did make the sacrifice of Hela, but with her being the goddess of death couldn't truly die, so long as Asgard existed, but the power of the soul stone kept her from returning as long as the person who made the sacrifice still lived. So when Odin died, the soul stone released its hold and Hela returned.
Im pretty sure he manages to collect around 3-4 infinity stones, but not at the same time. Because when Ebony Maw gave the space stone to Thanos, he said: no other being has ever had the might nay the nobility to neal not one but two infinity stones
I think Odin left the time stone with aggomoto on earth when they faced the celestial that would be a good theory and also around the time he brought Thor home friega to play his mcu mother when we all kno his real mother is geia or Mother Earth elder god
Its a great therory. But with the soal stone. Maybe after odin handle the six infinity stones. He hide each stone amonst the galaxy. Where he created a enchantment to protect the soal stone. Maybe back then that stone was easy to claim and after he just secure them amonst the stars. Like on volmere. You properly didnt have to give up a love one. Odin could have cast that spell on the stone. So no one can use the sole stone
Much prefer Odin collected the Infinity stones to acquire might in order to confront the existence of Celestials in the 9 realms. I imagine Odin acquired the power gem initially from the Celestial from defending one of the 9 realms. Constructed the Destroyer combining the essence of the Infinity Gems.( not complete all 6 gems exception of soul gem). Similar like the infinity gautlet
What if the asgardian or Odin's way to switch “a soul for a soul” (you know, the sacrifice) was to send Hela to Hel instead of just killing her but sending her to a place in which she was not able yo live a real life. The idea just crossed my mind I know it’s a bit absurd but 🤷🏼♂️crazy things happen in the mcu
There was a throwaway line in Infinity war when Thanos was talking about not failing his mission this time and that last time he got so close. I'm wondering if Thanos in infinity war was a variant sent back and that's why the TVA didn't try to stop at the avengers in their Time heist
Perhaps the inciting incident that caused Oden to not pursue his conquest was actually the Mind Stone giving him wisdom or making him open minded by expanding his knowledge.
Perhaps the ultimatum on Vormir lead him to abandon his conquest, where he could not bring himself to throw his daughter off the cliff and there he realized he should not be trying to conquer the 9 realms. That would lead Hela to rebel against him and her banishment.
Screen Rant has a video on this theory, believing he did get all the stones including the soul stone and that the magic behind the collection of the soul stone was created by Odin himself after he had to banish his daughter, one that he loved
Odin collected them all, that's why Thanos waited until after Odin died. Thanos knew Odin would be able to beat him, having already possessed them all.
You see, even if Thanos "destroyed" the stones, they probably assimilated back to their original spawn points, rather then where their first appearance in the movies started from. And now with the TV shows, I see a lot more happening going forward, even if we never see the stones or if they'll ever play another part in future stories.
The part about Odin not collecting the soul stone because he would have to sacrifice Hela is kinda wacky. When Hawkeye got the stone he sacrificed black Widow but was able to give it away to the avengers afterwards. This means that Odin could force a soldier in his army to do the sacrifice with his loved one and take the stone from him afterwards. He was totally able to get into its possession. Maybe he gave up on collecting all because of thor and his goal changing to focus on his future instead of Asgards.
I have a question. Why is the gauntlet in Odins vault so big surely it would be smaller for him to wear it. Like the stark gauntlet was small but only got bigger for Hulk to use it.
The reality stone was hidden by Bor and Odin never moved it. He might’ve had more than the Space stone but he never had the reality or Power stones, as the building surrounding the space stone was not of Asgardian design.

I think ur theory is almost spot on. Why would he hold a fake infinity gauntlet and the real Tesseract and know the location of the Reality stone, if he never one sed to use them. I agreee!
Odin had all of the stones. Hela was the sacrifice for the soul stone which odin used until he died and released the soul stone from his body, which is why he turned to yellow dust upon death and releasing hela from the soul stone. He used the stones , all but the soul stone, in the guantlet from his treasure room to conquer the realms before trapping hela and imprisoning her in the soul stone after she made a play for power against her father. Easy peasy.
The issue with this theory is that we have no real knowledge of who placed the soul stone on Vormir. And Vormir itself as a name sounds almost Asgardian for their world, the structures seen on it also mirror Asgardian/old norse. Cause remember someone had to have placed the soul stone on vormir and given that sort of test.
I think he stopped when he got to the soul stone because he couldnt sacrifice his daughter but she attempted to sacrifice him to finish his conquest. They fought and he locked her away.
That’s a great theory, but what if the thing he loved most wasn’t hela but his knowledge since with him he sacrificed so much to obtain as much knowledge as he had? Now that would suck and be crazy
*How Odin, if he had the ambition like Thanos, could've gotten the 6 Infinity Stones:* The year is 2012. Odin knew about all the Infinity Stones and their powers and locations already. He only didn't know how to retreive the Soul Stone. He went to Nidavellir and asked Eitri to make an Infinity Gauntlet for him, which he'll likely do especially when he protected his race. Afterwards he went to his vault, smashed the Tesseract got the Space Stone. He also picked up a device to hold the Aether/Reailty Stone and a device that Peter had to get the orb from the temple vault. He then teleported to the location of the Aether and obtain it. Then, he went to Morag and obtained the Power Stone from the temple vault. He then teleported to Earth, where he steals the scepther from Loki. He then destroys the scepter, giving him the Mind Stone. He then also obtains the Time Stone from The Ancient One, probably with killing her. Then he will likely sacrifice his wife on Vormir to obtain the Soul Stone and then snap.
I would suggest he actually completed the gauntlet, and he did so by attempting to trick the soul stone, he did give up hela, by binding her soul to his, but it wasn’t hela he loved, it was conquest. So by giving her up he gave up conquest and had to focus on peace in the galaxy. But by doing so he had to scatter his now completed gauntlet because having that much power would be a detriment to peace now had to champion.
Imagine this, okay. Infinity War/Endgame. Thanos snapped half of all existence away, and hulk brought them back 5 years later. What if instead of the first snap getting rid of everyone, the second just teleported everyone else through time and that form of time travel was just a type of sleep of sorts, until the snap happened again and such
Had Thor kept the aesir, and the septer been taken immediately to Asgard as originally planned, the asgardians would have had 3 infinity stones in their collection, which is crazy to think about.
Let's say Asgard. Not Odin himself, but Bor, Hela, Thor, Loki (He's adopted) between them may have had control over many of the stones. I believe the Space Stone (Possibly pre-tesseract) was used to create the Bifrost. One of the things Thanos had to wait for is a transport network almost capable of keeping up with him, the Power, and Space Stones. With those, he could blip around the cosmos, collecting jewelry, but Asgard/Heimdal had a way to keep up with him. (It's also capable of destroying planets. Why Thor had to wreckit!) So, I'm gonna say Heimdahl had the Space stone at some point, and also gained his sight (Without giving up an eye.) Hela would want the Power Stone, of course. Wouldn't love anything enough to sacrifice for the Soul Stone. Between them, Thor, and Loki have had the Mind Stone, Space Stone, and Aethir.
Personally I believe he had already sacrificed a loved one way prior to his wife and kids, that explains why he took in LOKI. He was already unstoppable and probably created more havoc than we think. He probably manipulated everything. He was also aware of the TVA and was careful not to trigger too much attention and thus, ended his reign of terror. I think we will eventually find out that ODIN is not dead but he is alive and well. You gotta remember that ODIN knows more then we are all led to think. That is exactly what why he is ODIN. We will be surprised. Mark my words. ODIN will return.
The aether was hidden by Bor. But not on Earth. Foster only accidently came into contact when the "convergence" weakened boundaries seperating dimensions....allowing Fostet to slide to whevet it was stashed.
Soul Stone was on Vormir (Asgardian sounding name) Reality Stone was hidden by Odin's father Space Stone was turned into the Tessaract and i believe it was used to create the Bifrost, I'm commenting this before watching the video btw lol
I don't think Odin loved his daughter but it was at vormir Odin realized he only loved war up until that moment and that could be why Hela says in ragnrok how odin ended conquering after nine relms when he could have had it all instead he locked Hela away so in a way this theory could be true and could be why Odin knows so much about most the stones and could have even helped scatter them with the space stone that why it was his the prized jewel of his collection
IMPORTANT - Didn’t the Ancient One (from Dr. Strange) tell Bruce banner that all the Stones have to be returned from where they were taken. So doesn’t that mean that Odin Took the space stone or Tesserack to earth and he never returned it to the proper spot as well as maybe even some of the other stones that he may have collected. So Captain America I think you had to return all the stones to their original locations and this might’ve taken a lifetime of searching where that location was maybe that’s why he was so old.
the real reason he didnt try to get the soul stone was because throwing hela off a cliff wouldn't kill her

1. We have no way to date which myths are older or younger, considering all the records we have where written by christians some houndred years after norse mythology stopped being believed in.
2. The majority of Vanir that we have recorded are male (literally three, though some other gods might be vanir there is no way to prove that)
3. We have no idea who was "the best magic user" (also, I don't think magic was thought of in this way by the old norse)
4. The æsir are, most probably, concidered as more violent and angry because the text was written by christians, you definetly do not want to sound sympathetic towards pagan traditions if you're a christain in the fourteenth century.
Next time you write about my cultural roots, please do some more research.
Edit: there arn't severeal "god races" there are just two, the æsir and the vanir
Edit 2: magic and fertility are not related to being "female" in norse mythology (at least among the Vanir) both Freja and her brother Frej are both related to fertility. That is two of the three vanir documented with certanty (the other one is a god of the sea, if you're intrested)
@@alliecore9529 to your first point: yes it is possible to differ at least a little bit, but its quite complicated and an ongoing science
to your second point: that differs from area to area, it differs from scandinavia over german speaking territory; it is for example possible that the war between wannen and asen was a real war in which the asen are standing for the empire and the wannen for the opposition, which is often interpreted in a male/female dichotomy. that is not my theory, google a litte bit and you can find several studies etc. about it.
to your third point: Im not talking about the best magic user, im fully aware that the norse mytholodgy differs here a lot. Im saying wannen were considered to be powerful witches, although the facts to that are low.
to your fourth point: yes that is one interpretation, an other one you can find on my point two. history is not straight, multiple options are possible.
to your edit: ofc there are different god races, parts of south germany belonged to the roman empire, what means that there are interactions, also religious one. In former times people believed in polytheismus (believe in many gods) which included also the believe that other cultures have their own gods, therefore there are different god races from titans to asen. it also depended where you lived, high up in the north isolated, one probably just believed in the norse mytholodgy, one close to the boarders of rome probably believed also in some version of roman gods.
to your second edit: in all cultures fertility is connected to female gods, in some they have a male counter part.
I can understand that you defend "your version". in the end christians, judaism and islam, all have the same god and still they hate each other deeply. Specially the figure of odin can be found from india over afrcia to the north, there are thousands of myths and they differ in their form and so on. besides that i just wanted to show that from a story telling point, the myths offer an interesting story line which could be used.

They’re making the movie. But Odin is being cast as a black quadriplegic female who identifies as a Subaru Outback.
Thor rediscovered it.
Plus the Dark Elf conflict wasn't on Earth, the video is thinking about the Frost Giants.
Odin couldn’t have had the Power Gem either. It was locked up in a Celestial-made relic and vault when bootleg Corsair found it.
I think the sacrifice would likely have been his wife. My guess is that this is what stopped him.

I think Odin gave the Time stone to Agamoto to protect as the Sorcerer Supreme and it was passed down to each SS for safe guarding as part of their duty, and that’s why we see it in the Eye of Agamoto.
It's no coincidence Gorr from Thor's Love and Thunder and Thanos wanted the powers of Eternity to have their way . Thanos just thought it was easier chasing the stones.

Kang defeated them with the TVA
@Randy Candelario we have MCU canon for that. The Celestials have been pictured with the stones and mentioned several times that they once ruled (or terrorized) the universe with the stones. Equal to Thanos? I didn’t make that claim because power is irrelevant to this. Thanos is a Titan though, which are descended from Celestials so by nature are less powerful. Like Ego and Star Lord.
Yeah, but at no point a single Celestial had all 6 stones
@@ThePipojp You could still argue that they were all six gathered together, probably for a purpose, probably for a shared purpose
@Randy Candelario yeah, but my post was first
Couple things that may support this is tesseract sent red skull to vormir, and the eye of agamoto and the spear both resemble the same gold uru as the gaunlet, odins spear, and odens armor.
Thanos patiently waited for the King o nine realms to die. Now that's a strategy .
The coloursss lmao
I think Odin had all the stones and conquered the 9 realms to get them. He got the soul stone in sacrifice of Hela's mother. Once he had all the stones, either he encountered an Omega that put him in his place seeing the stones won't help; or used the time stone and saw them lose everything. He hid the stones and told Hela who went on a rampage because Odin killed her mother to conquer the universe and now they weren't going to do it.
I’d love to see a stand-alone film for Odin, that would be an amazing film Anthony Hopkins Is on of the best actors ever
Odin fought the Frost giants at Townsberg, not the dark elves.
Odin didn’t know where the reality stone was. He assumed it was destroyed
Odin doesn’t need the Infinity Stones to do anything that he did. All he needed was the Odinforce.

@@darrinwebber4077 Well it does, both Thor AND Hela harness odin force during Ragnarok
Assuming Ebony Maw was correct no one has ever weilded more than one but I do believe Odin started to gear up and knew where many were but chose not to
He was Wrong, Loki was in possession of the Space Stone and Mind Stone in the 1st Avengers Movie 🤯
Maybe one day marvel will go more in-depth on Odin's life.
i think you're mistaking the casket of ancient winters for the space stone
Wait this made me realize that Loki had such a huge effect on the avengers. Captain America was injected with the serum to counter the red skull. The red skull took his serum to be the best human or whatever (now I’m quite forgetful but from what I remember) and wanted to find the tesseract for more power. And he knew of the tesseract because of the Norse legends that (what I’m guessing) were made from Loki and Thor coming to earth and messing around
There was an actual battle between Asgard and frost giants on Earth
I like to think after realizing what he and Hela have become he gives up his pursuit of the stones.

What would tva do if they had to prune Thanos with all six stones
Many Bothans died to bring us this information.

The Avengers failed to stop Thanos with less than six stones. I doubt they would succeed unless Kang himself got involved.
The most likely possibility is that they would somehow use the same tech that renders all magic worthless in the tva headquarters on the stones as well.Maybe the 'he who remains' may interfere and provide such a weapon in these scenarios.

Found the video. It was from Screen Rant. th-cam.com/video/jPNhqWTFrZk/w-d-xo.html
I remember theorizing before IW that Heimdall had the Soul Stone
I like to think younger Odin, on his arrogance, couldn't give up what he loved the most, his kingdom.
'He was able to obtain the stones and use them with Hela at his side, meaning he was able to have Hela at his side while he used the infinity stones' bro REALLY needed to finish his 3,000 word count essay
Variation of your Soul Stone Theory -
What if what caused Odin to be a "benevolent king", as Hela put it, was that he would have had to sacrifice Frigga who was pregnant with Thor to get the Soul Stone.
Marvel needs to give Hella a backstory because she just showed up and died in the same movie
Frigga was known a seer. Maybe she had foreseen that Thor would lose Mjolnir and that he would need a new weapon.
Im pretty sure he manages to collect around 3-4 infinity stones, but not at the same time. Because when Ebony Maw gave the space stone to Thanos, he said: no other being has ever had the might nay the nobility to neal not one but two infinity stones
He also started with the mind stone because, ya know, Lokis septar
I think Odin left the time stone with aggomoto on earth when they faced the celestial that would be a good theory and also around the time he brought Thor home friega to play his mcu mother when we all kno his real mother is geia or Mother Earth elder god
What?! Thor’s mother is Geia? *Starts to Google frantically*
I'd pay good money to see this early Odin biopic. Great theory video
Makes sense. Definetly more sense than how adopted Loki looks much more like Hela than Thor does...
I rather think, that Odin had the Soul Stone and it was himself, who hid the Soul Stone on Vormir
Odin collected them all, that's why Thanos waited until after Odin died. Thanos knew Odin would be able to beat him, having already possessed them all.
Damn Odin looked like DADDY in some of those drawings lol
There needs to be an Odin and Bor movie. His might needs to be seen

Easy peasy.
I think if he wanted to truly scatter the stones, he’s super unsmart for putting 3 of them on earth lol
*How Odin, if he had the ambition like Thanos, could've gotten the 6 Infinity Stones:*
The year is 2012.
I'd say that you're absolutely correct! I believe he found them all, but couldn't go through with giving up a loved one!
Imagine this, okay.
Infinity War/Endgame.
Thanos snapped half of all existence away, and hulk brought them back 5 years later.
What if instead of the first snap getting rid of everyone, the second just teleported everyone else through time and that form of time travel was just a type of sleep of sorts, until the snap happened again and such
I really want an odin prequel
Had Thor kept the aesir, and the septer been taken immediately to Asgard as originally planned, the asgardians would have had 3 infinity stones in their collection, which is crazy to think about.
Would have loved to see Odin and Thanos duke it out!
I’d like to see a movie with Younger Odin and Hela concurring
I think, like the TVA, on Odins conquests, he just picked up the ones he saw along the way
The aether was hidden by Bor. But not on Earth. Foster only accidently came into contact when the "convergence" weakened boundaries seperating dimensions....allowing Fostet to slide to whevet it was stashed.
Soul Stone was on Vormir (Asgardian sounding name)
Reality Stone was hidden by Odin's father
Space Stone was turned into the Tessaract and i believe it was used to create the Bifrost,
I'm commenting this before watching the video btw lol
Space stone can’t destroy planets
Ok I'm just gonna say it, the appearance of the fake infinity gauntlet in Odin treasury was not supposed to be taken seriously.
