- Lupita Nyong'o is mourning the loss and honouring the life of Chadwick Boseman, who died last month following a four-year battle with colon cancer. The kenyan celebrated actress shared a heartfelt statement to memorialise her Black Panther co-actor and friend. "I write these words from a place of hopelessness, to honour a man who had great hope," she wrote.

I understand she is hurting. I don't personally know him yet his death was very hard for me. However l believe she was in love with him.

This guy, who I never knew, is an inspiration to me! I never seen the famous Movie Black Panther. But his cry, reminded me of my situation. That is what inspired me so much. You can not be a stand up person, among people, in the day, if you are not one in the night. You can't fake, what he did. They told him there were a possiblity, that he would not survive. Do you know what that is like to watch yourself fade away, every time you walk pass a mirror. I have a great idea, how he felt. But he had to not let it touch him in the dark. If he would have. We would have seen it in the light. Thought of you keep on inspiring me!
