Same here in Nigeria : ) to us, the audience is as important as the cast.
Read somewhere that in many communities, the 'conversation' is dictated by the listener, not the speaker. I've noticed that amongst many black and brown people worldwide (Indigenous and Black Americans, Africans, some south Asians)

the US has many accents yet we can surely say an accent is from somewhere in the US. There are a ton of accents in Europe but you can say someone has a European accent, if compared to Africa or the US. So if an Irish actor, for example, faked a New Jersey accent, I know it’s “[US] American” despite there being other regions.
It really is okay to say African (or other continents’) accent in some instances. 🙄

Superheroes are a metaphor for overcoming adversity, for facing challenges, for being responsible for others. Few of those movies make the world better. Black Panther did.

About Black Panther? I thought that! He made me cry talking about his inner child. Then when he was talking about reactions in Atlanta...I needed more!

@@slydoll7877 exactly! I was waiting for a big round of applause or some kind of comment that what he was saying was actually a moment in history for black people and will impact black children's perception of black people represented in film forever. There's even more to it than that, and they just moved on.
