Well, you know, technically if even half of what is claimed and researched is true, IRIAF cats have seen more A2A action in 8 years than all their USN counterparts in four decades... Besides, IRIAF crews and technicians assigned to the F-14 were originally trained in the USA (which is a pretty usual norm for client countries when they buy planes from the West, especially for political motives). A lot of them fled in time, some others had to spend time in jail before being called to serve by the new regime, because... their US training was actually what made them so special. This module and the videos that have been released of it so far have made me surprisingly emotional. I know it sounds silly, but this thing is quite possibly the closest I will ever get to realizing my childhood dreams. I'm aging now, and the closest I got to being a fighter pilot was being an Army JAG...not very close at all...but to Heatblur, and the team that is making this simulation possible, I say, thank you...really...thank you.

They are both interesting, but very different. Hornet is a high-skilled hight-tech warrior, while Tomcat is more likely powerful primordial beast.

Landings which are pretty crazy realistic for commercial use the tomcat looks like it’s goona be one hell of beast for carrier landings
