    I love all of you'r videos! Its really awesome ! Do you use a graphic tablet, and do you think that its necessary for sculpt

    • @FynnGB
      @FynnGB  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks a lot! Yes I started out using a wacom bamboo for almost 7 years but I switched to an intuos pro M
      Since Zbrush works by 'drawing' strokes it's necessary to have a tablet to get the pen pressure otherwise it would be like drawing in photoshop with a mouse

      @@FynnGB thanks for the answer :D i start Zbrush with just a mouse. But i think it's time for me To try a graphic tablet :)

    Really amazing work! Just wondering, how long do you use dynamesh for before switching to subdividing?

    • @FynnGB
      @FynnGB  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It really depends on what I'm planning to do with the model and how far I want to take it. In this case I used dynamesh all the way to the end since I didn't go into fine skin details. But for a production ready model I would create a proper topology once the primary and most of the secondary forms are there. As long as the proportions don't change anymore it's safe to make the topology and then work with that rather the dynamesh geometry

    Great work! Can I ask you for some advice on how to smooth things without losing details? Each time I try to blend stuff and smooth my sculpt, I lose any sharp angle and crease too fast. Do you have any tips on this?

    • @FynnGB
      @FynnGB  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would recommend to either make lighter strokes or lower the zintensity for your smoothing brush. When I have a crease or an edge I like to smooth out the surfaces around it but not the crease/edge itself to keep the detail.

    What a great job, its just perfect, can you tell me how you start? I mean, this is a dynamesh? And which resolution you used?

    • @FynnGB
      @FynnGB  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks a lot! I like to start with the default 'DynaWax128' sphere that you can find in the lightbox. Once I make shapes where the resolution is not sufficient anymore I increase it slowly

    3 things:
    1. Great sculpt, great anatomy.
    2. I would of started the skull off using a primate skull for this, considering the amount of deviation and deformation away from the human skull.
    3. The image used for the thumbnail is misleading, clearly way more sub tools were used to create this than just a single sphere.
