There is nothing in this world more incredible besides being a mother and grandmother. Grandmothers get to spoil rotten and send home as long as they want to. I was raised by my grandparents, ty for being there for your grandchildren every single day. I look forward to these every night, so much, but I have been ill and I’m just now catching up on the past few days. Thank you for keeping me company while I’m snuggled up in bed with my two little Chihuahua boys and all the crafting I can do is design.
I just wanted to tell you how much I am loving these pockets. Super easy to make and fun to decorate. I am making a herb journal for my daughter and this was perfect ephemera to add to it. I know you put a ton of work in all you do and I am a fan. BTW, I think my husband is too. He made a comment this morning about your G-babies at the pool running around without a top on. LOL!!!! I honestly didn't think he paid much attention to what I watched. I guess he likes it that you are in Bama. Folks he can trust I suppose. We used to live in Huntsville where he worked as a NASA subcontractor. Yep, a rocket scientist! (Bless my heart!) Both of our girls were born at Huntsville Hospital. Over 30+++ years later we are now in Georgia so we are neighbors. Nice to see you doing well with your endeavors. Stay safe and have an amazingly blessed life.

thank you for sharing. you inspired me. I have one of those 180 sheet 12 x 12 paper pads that is old (I believe it is k and company, not sure because I no longer have the cover) I cut a sheet down to 8.5 x 11 to make the triple pocket. I than had enough to make 2 tags (out of the same sheet of paper) for the pockets and still had a 1 inch strip left for collage. again, thank you for sharing

Great video! These pockets are so much fun! I would, however, consider this: Edith, you say it's not necessary to glue down the triangle that gets tucked in backwards. I made one where it wasn't stuck down properly and I had problems getting the tag out again! If it's a smooth tag it's not a problem, but if you like to decorate your tags up with bits of lace or images that are on cardstock or even chipboard, you are going to have a problem! Just thought I'd put that out there for consideration🙂
I said I don’t find it necessary but if you do then yes most definitely do so. I haven’t had an issue but I can see where it could happen with laces and any type raised embellishment. Thanks so much.

I'm new to making journals and I can't get over how beautiful the pages are to the point that I don't want to fold them, cut them, or tear them. How do you get over that issue. Lol

I’ve been attempting to catch up on the last 2 weeks of videos. My dear husband had a severe heart attack May 10 @ 3:30 am. Combined with congestion be heart failure and pulmonary edema. Quad bypass- on last Friday got AFIB- back to surgery to shock the heart Monday. He’s home and finally sleeping soundly. I’m very excited to be catching up. Oldest daughter here from out of state. Youngest arrives Thursday. I’ll be in my happy place. Watching my favorite channel.

I've only found you a week ago and I've never journalled but you have inspired me to start because I have tons of scrapbooking supplies since I've been doing it for years. As my 1st project I want to do a recipe journal. What kit do you suggest I start with or what I should use.

Love, love, love your videos. What size paper did you use for the triple pockets, what kind of glue and what is the tool called you use to separate washi stickers?
I don’t remember exactly but I say one sheet so am thinking 8 1/2”x11. Glue is empty glitter glue. The tool is a Cricut tool.

Are you using cardstock or copy paper to make those. I love them.
It is copy paper but it is a little heavier than regular copy paper.

What I have a problem with is what paper weight to use. What are you using here? I did try one with cardstock. It did come out alright but yours looked thinner. I love these! Thanks so much!
