I'm working on journals for a craft fair at one of the senior centers this Dec I have 16 in progress getting ready to sew in the signatures. The first journal I saw used all temples that the crafter was selling. It was to uniform for me, but was beautifulI, so I kept looking for something that fit me and my style. That's when I saw my first junk journal. It was perfect for me. Thats when i fell in love with all things junk journal. Took me a while to be comfortable with sewing in the signatures. That was winter of 2018/2019. Wow how time Flys !!
Hi Edith I'm busy sorting my ephemera out and with listening to you and looking how you make this for the TN make the sorting easy and not boring. I too love to listen to the rain falling. Take care. 🤗
These are really pretty. I love them all. Im currently making journals for a craft sale at Corbin Senior Center here in my home town of Spokane WA. I have 17 that have covers and signatures. I'm having a blast matching papers with covers. This morning I changed all of the signatures in one cover that is purple and I realized that they didn't match at all. I also have 3 or 4 more sets of signatures that fell together when i realized that I had made too many pages
Its 2.15pm in the UK and its been rain and thunder storm all week and its playing up with my brittle bone and osteoporosis and spondylitis of my spine x
OH PLEASE KEEP US FOREVER.... I would watch you 24/7. I can't get enough of your teaching and hearing your accent. It makes me miss middle GA so much. Thank you for all you do for us all. .......... deborah krepp jarzynka
Ya just gotta love our babies. Happy Birthday Brook. Ive been redoing my craft room I gotta few new things while was in albq. Its so hot here in pueblo Colorado it's be in the 90's. I bought a new craft cart and made a piece with pockets for extra storage God bless all of you.
I love these! I make templates too. Now tho I have to make some sort of book for them! Lol I have been having problems with my internet too Edith. We pay so much for sometimes lousy service! Lol..🥴. Wishing you and your family a beautiful & blessed weekend. Xx 💖
I spent the day journaling and then fussy cutting many things today. Plus I did the 30 minute challenge, although I only had a 1" circle. They turned out nice as far as I'm concerned and then make 2 envelopes using napkins to cover them and washi tape. I had been sewing sundresses for my youngest granddaughter. Just needed a break.
This is such a cute project. I enjoy your videos and chatting. Grand babies are the best! I LOVE Sarah's paper pad! I have to get me one! Sending hugs! 💙😊
I mentioned previously how I miss rain and storms. A background sound of rain would be amazing! I enjoy all your videos, but that would be icing on an already delicious cake. I asked your daughter to give you a hug from me for referring me to her channel. Creativity must be in your DNA; you certainly passed it on.
Oooh, just learned something else about pockets. I have been folding mine on 3 sides but then gluing the bottom flap down to the pocket itself and then to the cardstock. This is why some of my tags do not slide all the way in. Duh. I will start using tape.
These tags and pockets are lovely. I also make templates. The whole junk journal process reminds me of the quilt making process. You use a pattern/template. You make blocks/tags assembly line style. You iron/burnish as you go. You applique/decorate as needed. I love it all! 💗 It tickles my fancy!😄 TFS🤗
Recovering from surgery so I'm a little behind in watching these videos. Will have to go back and watch where you made the notebook itself, but they sure are pretty! 👍❤
I love your tags and the papers are very pretty My great granddaughter acts like that some times. Always asking for just one more thi vs after I've given and given. Doesnt understand why I get a little short some times. Then wo t listen when I want her to see reason and why I get short with her !!
Enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing tag and pocket tips. Where I live, they are working on the light rail and construction is right down the street from my house. My street is so busy and noisy some days. It's been rather cold in the mornings. The sun comes out but it's not to warm yet. We're all doing good..
I love the hint about making tag templates that are ready to go. My projects take so long because I am creating pockets and tags for them as I go, choosing coordinating papers and backings, and of course, having to measure to fit, and even then I goof up where the tag won't slide completely in, etc. I also think I will decide what size 98 percent of my cards will be. Like 5.5 x 6" since I like substantial cards for more room for embellies. Knowing what size my card will usually be will make it easier to create those templates you suggest. Thanks!
Such beautiful notebooks. The tags are going to be beautiful. I’ve been saving my backing card stock for tags. I’m almost out of my Bearly Art glue, which I love. I hope it’s back in stock soon.
I can't measure worth ---. Making that mini album it took me 3 tries to get it right. As soon as I got it, I made a template for next time. I'm with you on that one, for sure.😊
Sorry if I missed it, but could you say what size your tags are and side tucks I think you said? All I caught was the one pocket size 4X5 and I would love to make some templates. I’ve been having problems at your store so I can’t get into your digitals where your templates are to just buy and print them. Thanks so much
I would like to order the velium journaling pad that you used in this video. Can you tell me how I can make the order? I didn't see them listed in your store. Thanks in advance.

I am so glad that I discovered your channel. Watching your video s is better than watching a movie.
I
There's a comedian that does a bit about living with a crafter...not allowed to throw anything away. It's hilarious...and SO true. 🤣
I see “Poppies” for the name of one and “Garden Gate” for one. Nice tips today! 👍
