I have just started journalling and love this. It has worked beautifully. I am making books to hold my parent's memorabilia and as you say they will become treasure books, not junk journals! Many thanks for great tuition.
I make journals all the time and was looking for something new for pocket ideas and I found you, Treasure Books. When I make something new to me I always try it out with copy paper first, I absolutely love it. I tried another one but, I folded the flaps to the inside. Very neat and elegant looking. Then I got to thinking, what if I used a larger sheet of paper, 12x12 size from a paper pack. It makes a 6x6 pocket and it's the bomb. The one thing I didn't expect was it's one sided paper and I though oh well I messed up. But, no it gave the pocket a different look and opened up some more decorating ideas the white back side against the front print side. Thank for the post.

At 3:52 you put a smaller one in between 2 larger ones. How do you get all the folds to line up at the left side like that smaller one? I believe its also the one you show at start. Folding you did is completely different. How is that one made- please???
I made them all exactly the same way, just using different papers and different sizes. The smaller one is made using a book page. Exactly the same folds.
