LOL - I was assigned to burn the trash too! LOVED watching it burn. Now I still enjoy sitting by the bon fire watching the sparks fly and the branches turn to ash.
Love this and love the burning the trash story....my mom used to say, "one of you girls take out the trash", and we would always ask, "Can we burn it!" Fun!!!
We still burn where I live. Even big burn piles. And no, I cannot sleep either. I am up watching your videos. And gotta get up and try whatever it is your making at the time. Thanks for keeping my mind going! Lol
We had a burning barrel to when I was a kid, and watched the paper curling too, and my Dad had one filled with water to put his boat motor in it. He did not have a boat but he would start that motor and rev it up and I guess think he was boating anyways, lol. It just hatched tons of mosquitoes
I love everything you do on these videos...but I was screaming when you covered over those beautiful vintage playing cards...I have never seen any like these before. I love including them in my junk journals especially some with such interesting subjects as those were...my heart cries for them. But I still love you! :)
How beautiful. After next weekend I am going to play play with all these fun projects. My Granddaughter use to say the same saying, you get what you get and you don’t pitch a fit. Cute saying. As always I enjoy your videos so much. This one took me two days to watch because I am preparing for my Granddaughter’s graduation party I am throwing next Sunday. Take care and God Bless.
He lived on a farm and we had a 55 gallon drum also and burned it but we called it a burn barrel so it was pretty cool sometimes I liked throwing leaves and it just have that smell anyway God bless and please have a amazing day
I’m amazed at the diversity of ideas you come up with for one project theme. Regarding the oil barrel burner. My father had a barrel cradled sideways into a pair of metal supports. The top became the front that had a framed door welded onto it. I don’t remember anything being burned in it but I tied a skipping rope to the door handle, hoisted myself up by climbing onto the frame and then up to the upward facing side of the barrel and pretended I was riding MY mythical horse off into many adventures. Thank you for sharing you talent and your stories. Thank you for bringing back those wonderful memories 💖
I remember burning in a burn barrel. And today I still like to watch papers burn in the fire pit. I would like to see a Mini Scrapbook, maybe for Christmas. Thank you ! I really enjoy watching you.
This is certainly a cute idea !!!! I'm thinking of making a journal with pockets and all embellishments made of book pages of newspaper....then brighten it all up with colorful paper for the pockets...
Lol we had a burn barrel also and I to loved to see the paper burn. This is to funny I have also would have loved to take it out to save it, if only I would have not been so scared of the fire. My sister would always pick on me for saving everything they would call me a pack rat because I just couldn’t let go of anything. I loved paper very much. I would always wanted to save all the junk mail that would come in but my mom would go through my stash and throw it away when I would go to school. I would save the cute pictures that would come in my grandfathers cigarette packs, if I’m not mistaken he smoked the camel cigarettes. I wish I would still have them. Anyway I’m so enjoying your videos I watch them at night when I have my full attention to watch them. It’s very relaxing 😌 ps I do love the sound of paper being cut. I remembered you mentioned it in another video. Your not the only one lol
"E", we must be close in age. You brought me back to some sweet memories. As a little girl, I remembered going to my Grandmother's home in California. At the back of her property was an incinerator where the trash was burned every couple of days. Everyone had to dispose of their trash that way. I loved watching the burning and flickering flames and seeing the different colors and the smoke trails. Thank you for prompting sweet memories. It's funny how far we've come. Nowadays we glue our trash into junk journals and sell them, LOL. Donna, in California.
Yes, we had a metal barrel for burning but my grandmother kept envelopes to write on, along with keeping other things, as I do now. I like this brown on white you're doing today, too.
I didnt finish it yet and it went thru. Sorry. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Also Thanks for all the videos and the freebies. I love them all. Take care.
She nice is part. And pam would not think like that.she as a lovely affrican gray parrot he's funny when his mummy crafting xyou do butifull work .and am a UK 🇬🇧 fan from Lancashire u🇬🇧 happy new year we all lost loved one but keep crafting ❤❤🎉
What a great idea. Love it. We had a burnin barrel on our farm too. We appreciate your honesty on posting your videos. I hadn't seen Pam's video yet but will check it out. She's awesome too, as are you. Thank you both.
I am of the same group in age.We had a burn barrel in the back yard. I loved to watch the fire grab and burn the paper. I am enjoying all the add on pieces for my journal.
Love this tutorial...we still burn here in Texas, but we have burn ban notices everywhere when at high risk, usually when in a drought. Most of us have common sense when to burn, but there are others, not from here, are the ones we need burn ban for...lol..😻
Hi E! Thank you for another lively tutorial. I appreciate you sharing your talents. I grew up on a farm where we also had a burn barrel. Nobody talked about the environment at that time. Yes, I always liked watching the curling edges of things like magazines and other colored paper. You are definitely not alone in this! ♥️
I always like the end result of what you make because everything goes so well together.....well done Miss E I love campfire especially when the embers are hot and it show so many colors in the fire pit.
I've made some with book pages as well but not with the zig zag on the edges. I do double up on my pages though. I love using book pages for making ephemeral and embellishments. I love simple but pretty projects. Thank you for sharing. GOD Bless
My brain in your brain seem to operate the same way get in bed to sleep and it just won't turn off. But being retired I can take a nap the next day. So if you're crazy so am I. I really appreciate your videos
I enjoy your videos. I have seen many people's and chose you as my favourite. Thanks for all the great ideas. I am wondering? Have you ever done just a cream and black journal? Would that be a challenge to embellish and make pretty?
I have a difficult time, when I use the Cropidile, seeing where the punch will come down on the paper. It is not my vision. I do mark those punch areas. Is there a trick to seeing back in where the punch comes down?
My grandma had a 40 acre farm and she had a burn barrel with an outhouse sitting 20 ft from it. I'm sure you can guess the rest of the story and yes after I started one of those fires, the outhouse caught fire and burned down .
We had a burn barrel too. Can you please tell me what glue that is, I bought 2 other kinds and I feel like I’m trying to squeeze forever before it comes out. I bought tacky glue and 3 in 1 and i hate them both,
Hi "E" ! Gee, I'm glad that I am not the only person to speak to my tools 😃 I L❤VE this project and the paper bag trim is AWESOME❣ E, I don't know whether this has been brought up yet, but I was wondering if you could possibly zoom in on your projects a little more please? It just seems a little far away for me 🙁 Looking forward to your reply. Eileen 🦔🙃 Oh, one more thing ... the "words" that you have in your Ephemera Folio ... are they Your digi's?

I remember watching my grandfather burn trash in this way as an child in the 60s in Arkansas!
Ms. E, MY Brain never shuts down. I'm always worrying about something. Thinking about something. Crafting. I love your Chanel. Thank you for these. 🐰
I remember watching my grandfather burn trash in this same way as a child in the 60s in Arkansas!
I love Pam and her video's, but I also love yours too. Thank you for teaching me.
Love this and love the burning the trash story....my mom used to say, "one of you girls take out the trash", and we would always ask, "Can we burn it!" Fun!!!
I remember watching my grandfather burn garbage in this way when I was a small child in the 602 in Arkansas
Love it.... JOY
I also enjoy watching & listening to Pam. Some of her saying really have me laughing. Her little pup, Sunny, is a real cutie, like Melina's new puppy.
We still burn where I live. Even big burn piles. And no, I cannot sleep either. I am up watching your videos. And gotta get up and try whatever it is your making at the time. Thanks for keeping my mind going! Lol

Once again beautiful tags. Thanks for sharing with us ❤️😊
These tags are so pretty. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

The pockets are gorgeous. I love the tags. Hey turned out so well. Thank you..
Thank you for letting us know about the needle size for sewing on paper.
Thank you. I actually did one while watching. Just didn't finish the tags and of course, I don't stitch! LOL
love it.
You must have an amazing mind
Great idea Tfs.
I do my best creative thinking at 3 and 4am. We are a weird breed, in a good way, aren't we?!?
Yes we are.
Every $Tree has it's "staple" items, then each Varies in their CRAFT, GARDEN, HOME WARES, & MAKEUP.
I have a difficult time, when I use the Cropidile, seeing where the punch will come down on the paper. It is not my vision. I do mark those punch areas. Is there a trick to seeing back in where the punch comes down?

claudia culver oh no! Lol that sounds like something I would do.
When I staple something…. I take my Craft pliers and squeeze the bumps until they are Flat 👍😂
I love those old tag's where can I get those?
Not sure which you are talking about.
We had a burn barrel too. Can you please tell me what glue that is, I bought 2 other kinds and I feel like I’m trying to squeeze forever before it comes out. I bought tacky glue and 3 in 1 and i hate them both,
Art glitter glue. Best glue ever.

Oh, one more thing ... the "words" that you have in your Ephemera Folio ... are they Your digi's?
Hate to bother you again E, but the "WORDS" that you are using ... Are they a printable in your Shop please??
Yes they are a printable. It is called floral and labels.

Thank you! 😊
do you use a regular sewing machine, or do you have one of the little ones? thanks valerie
Valerie burns I have both and I use both. My big one for fancy stitch and my small one for straight stitch.
Do you use your tiny sewing machine to stitch the paper? Thank you.
krewson4 sometimes I do if it is just straight stitch. If I do zig zag I use my big one.

Hi
I wish we could burn junk mail. So sick of shredding or using sharpie to
get rid of information.
In the wintertime, I like burning junk mail in my fireplace. I love the smell, the sounds, and colors. It's so relaxing and sometimes something creative sneaks into the mind and I have to jot it down.
