Not a fan of their group, but I do have ears. Their song is viral and it's everywhere. From this video, I can hear that they're not good singing live, which is a fail for an idol. Something I noticed about fans these days is that they don't care about actual skills anymore, a lot of fans care only about visuals. They even defend their beloved idol or idol group even when you can hear them singing/dancing bad or 'decent' (decent as in compared to the average person whose livelihood doesn't depend on singing and dancing. Hello, that's their job, they shouldn't simply be decent!) The thing is, they should've been better than decent BEFORE debut. Company should also not have debuted them with their skills just at that level, but it's not like they can un-debut. So people SHOULD critique them (without death threats, that's too far) so they know what to work on. If they really cared about their craft, they would work hard to quickly improve to catch up to, and perhaps even surpass, the expectations people have of them. And that's all I have to say about that

There is no shortcut to longevity and the big3 have dedicated years and years of time, hardwork, creativity and originality into their artists and still do. This 2 days old company who lacks any creativity of their own can only go so far before they collapse and their greed will be the biggest reason for their downfall as we can see what's happening with them.

Bad singers is not a new phenomenon in KPOP. The thing is, even when the members can't really sing they still contribute something to the group. I look at ILLIT and have no idea what's the purpose of this group. They don't stand out in dance, performance, rap, personalities, or even the super shallow visuals. Def. not vocals.
My local karaoke bar has better singers than most Kpop idols. It's an industry problem. When you prioritize looks over talent, this is what you end up with. When Kpop fans get mad that they don't get voted for American awards like Grammys it's laughable because popularity does not equal talent.

Serious question-the first girl who sang in this clip, is her voice naturally sounded cute like chipmunk voice or she is just made to sing like that to go with the cutesy flow of the song. Coz ive noticed that NJ members are all young and cute too but they didnt use "cute" voice when singing, as in they naturally sing using a natural tone of voice. Im not a fan of both (or cutesy genre) but cant help comparing since both groups have a very similar concept
If you want to have an opinion, you should've at least watched RUN. Moka sings very well in there. Almost all of them sings well too. The judgers are people from around the world and selected judges, are you saying that they can't even do their job well? It could be an inside job. You never know. Also...if Moka is encouraged to sing with her voice naturally, it would be better.

While I don’t condone hate, you do have to realize RU Next performances aren’t very accurate. They were definitely autotuned and/or gone through post production.
Alright, but during the show 'R U Next,' they had to sing different songs with different concepts. And they managed it well. So what happened to them now?
I think a good portion of it is that the girls just aren’t in the right range too. HYBE seems to value style and concept over the ability for the girls to naturally sing the range of the notes. It’s a problem I’ve noticed with leseraffim too. They seem to flat/have trouble reaching most of the lower register. They have a lot more trouble singing magnetic than lucky girl syndrome. Of course, they can do with more breathing work (which is a must) and vocal colour training too but if you’re uncomfortable with the notes themselves, it won’t help a lot. You will still be off key or your voice might tremble. If you have a group of sopranos, don’t make them reach lower second soprano notes without adequate training especially if they are moving around a ton and show an inability to get in that range. It must be hard for the girls too. They don’t deserve to get dragged. I just hope their agency puts the work in to have them be extra skilled and confident for their comeback.

Bad singers is not a new phenomenon in KPOP. The thing is, even when the members can't really sing they still contribute something to the group. I look at ILLIT and have no idea what's the purpose of this group. They don't stand out in dance, performance, rap, personalities, or even the super shallow visuals. Def. not vocals.

My local karaoke bar has better singers than most Kpop idols. It's an industry problem. When you prioritize looks over talent, this is what you end up with. When Kpop fans get mad that they don't get voted for American awards like Grammys it's laughable because popularity does not equal talent.
Well Knets where the ones voting for them in R u next when perfectly we could have Channel, Jiwooo, Youngseo and Jeemin the talent and visual was there but I think they were “to old” for Koreans 🤣😂

Okay, Iroha and Wonhee are still kids, but what about Moka's voice? Minju and Yuna sing average, I think the song itself is not sung according to their voice range. Coz ive noticed that NJ members are all young and cute too but they didnt use "cute" voice when singing, as in they naturally sing using a natural tone of voice.
Im not a fan of both (or cutesy genre) but cant help comparing since both groups have a very similar concept

It's the companies fault, their concept was supposed to be girl crush but they changed it to cute because they wanted Wonhee to stand out the most.
This is not just one bad day because it’s becoming redundant, they can’t sing live. They are studio singers! K-pop as a whole should not debut idols who are not ready to sing live, it’s embarrassing! If this continues they will loose their popularity internationally. It will be sad for the previous idols like BTS who paved the way for them.

The minju or minji girl was the only one in that group will pass as a singer, she has beautiful and serene tone that fit into their concept, anyway there's always a room for improvement i hope the other girls realize what they're lacking as an so called "idol".

While I don’t condone hate, you do have to realize RU Next performances aren’t very accurate. They were definitely autotuned and/or gone through post production.

I think a good portion of it is that the girls just aren’t in the right range too. HYBE seems to value style and concept over the ability for the girls to naturally sing the range of the notes. It’s a problem I’ve noticed with leseraffim too. They seem to flat/have trouble reaching most of the lower register. They have a lot more trouble singing magnetic than lucky girl syndrome. Of course, they can do with more breathing work (which is a must) and vocal colour training too but if you’re uncomfortable with the notes themselves, it won’t help a lot. You will still be off key or your voice might tremble. If you have a group of sopranos, don’t make them reach lower second soprano notes without adequate training especially if they are moving around a ton and show an inability to get in that range. It must be hard for the girls too. They don’t deserve to get dragged. I just hope their agency puts the work in to have them be extra skilled and confident for their comeback.

It's HYBE PROBLEM. Because all HYBE wants is money. They get money from their groups and that's it. They don't give their idols PROPER TRAINING. While they make money, their idols perform on stage without knowing how to sing, embarrassing themselves and receiving hate. That's why HYBE is not part of the BIG3. Because the BIG3 train their idols properly. But HYBE doesn't care at all. I mean, of course not all groups are that weak, but even a professional needs training. Yes, HYBE groups have good songs and they become popular, but if an idol can't sing THEIR OWN SONG, then what's the point?
