- Today a mother asked me if her 14 years old daughter could sing with me. But I didn't expect her voice to sound like this 🥹

Seriously - as remarkable as Indila's original version is, I actually prefer this girl's version - I don't love Indila's very rapid vibrato (and I'm aware her parents are Algerian & rapid vibrato is characteristic in a lot of north African singing).

There is something about listening to a girl that can sing in a melodious way like this that just gives me chills every time. I’m a huge fan of melodic death metal, so I guess I can see the similarities between the two. Her voice though, is the best I’ve heard in a long time.
