- Higher salaries in the range of ₹18-20 lakhs fixed plus bonus up to 100% at top banks
- Work extremely long hours, high-pressure environment
- Opportunities to move to other investment banks, venture capital, private equity
Mid Office:
- Supporting front office by preparing pitch decks, financial models, information memorandums
- Ensure all analysis and materials are ready for the front office team's client interactions
- Salaries around ₹17.5-35 lakhs fixed at top banks, may get restricted stock units
- Better work-life balance, usually 10-12 hour workdays, weekends off
Back Office:
- Data entry, accounting, operational/manual work
- Salaries around ₹10-12 lakhs
- Limited opportunities for career growth
