first of all thank you for providing valuable content, insights, information and podcasts.
I am currently preparing for my ca final second attempt in May 2024. unfortunately in November 2023 I couldn't clear my ca final. I eagerly want to work in Private equity/ investment banking.
I have the following questions.
1) is the rank necessary to get into Private equity/ investment banking as a ca( planning for CFA/MBA after clearing CA).
2) if I get a rank in CA final may 2024 can I get into Private equity/investment banking as it will in my second attempt.
3) I am learning to prepare financial modelling from free resources available online. what additional knowledge and skill I required.
4)can I apply as a financial analyst or any other profile in investment banking/ private equity.

AIR doesn't have any relation to get into Big4 - May be you might have little leverage in getting ur resume shortlisted if you have AIR

Not necessarily required..if you have qualified in First attempt and have good knowledge of Data Visualisation software, Analytical skills you will be able to attend interview..there your communication and presence of mind works...
There are AIR who have not got placed in ICAI placement 😂..just check in 2018 or 2019 placement drive ..it happens sometimes.

People getting fascinated about IB and PE from it's packages but not realizing the crazy level of skill sets which have to be brought in along with a highly risky and unstable career. Kushal's videos have become obsolete for an average CA student nowadays, his insights are helpful only to the cream section of students who have secured an AIR or cleared in their first attempt.
Why to make people feel as 50 lakhs not enough and 1 crore key to happiness, would be better if tht thumbnail would be just informative enough and not , iykuk😅
