Carlos doesn't dodge, he tackles, and you've been doing that successfully many times, you even managed to do the critical hit animation after the punch as Carlos, thanks for this awesome playthrough! 😊
When jill and carlos get to the hospital is when Leon and Claire arive at the RPD. You were right there was a special item for carlos or jill (cant remember which) where you jump over you just jumped down into the wrong part. There are two windows where you can jump down. You actually missed the hunter running by on the screen after you get the key and gonback upstairs. You were looking left and right 😂. Knowing what is ahead of you watching you use all your flashbangs gave me anxiety 😂😂 plus you keft brad alive not getting the stars keycard and missing all the ammo in the rpd also gave me anxiety. Great playthrough the best ones make me anxious. I tro to origional RE3 describes raccon city as a small midwestern town

Therefore, when you play as Jill again you will be able to get it by jumping from the second floor from a window that only Jill can access. Also, as you might have figured already you can pick all the locks you left behind as Carlos later in the game🔓 Have a great Friday! I really enjoy watching people play Resi games 💙
PS: When you fight the horde as Carlos, shoot at the gens whenever you can and keep the hand grenades for Hunters only. If you get overwhelmed, use a flashbang to buy some time and take enemies down. And don't forget to heal when you get hurt, so you can avoid hunters' instakill Hope it helps 😉

One of the things that RE3make doesn't do as well as RE2make, is that it can quickly lock you out of getting certain items. The game is much more linear than RE2Remake, and there's not as much backtracking, but it still feels annoying to not know if you can't get a specific item yet because you will come back later with a key, or if you have to figure out how to open it then and there. That first safe in the warehouse building, for example, at the beginning of the game, is only accessible until you close that shutter door while running from Nemesis. I also don't know if the game ever gives you a clue that fighting Nemesis nets you items. When I first played the game, I missed the extended magazine and suppressor that Nemesis drops, because I thought I was being smart by not wasting ammo on him. Some final helpful, spoiler-free pointers for the remainder of the game: don't be afraid to re-explore the hospital as Jill. Once you get a point of "no return", the environmental design is pretty clear -- so if you don't have all the items you want from the hospital by that point, just go back and get them before proceeding. -As you have seen, Hunters have a kind of armored face that breaks apart with damage. Corrosive damage might be an effective way to counter these tanky bois.
You keep saying "Carlos doesn't like doors" but actually in these games you have to be facing the item you initiate the action button (X) on to activate. So you can't have the camera looking at Carlos's face (you looking at what is behind you) trying to open a door, pick up an object etc. your camera needs to be facing towards the item you try to interact with. This applies in RE4 REmake too
That segment when you have to face an army of zombies is one of the underwhelming parts of this remake. In the OG RE3 Carlos has to face Nemesis instead. Also in the OG RE3 before Jill is infected with the virus you have to explore The Clock Tower, a location that was entirely cut off in the remake, this place design is similar to the mansion of Resident Evil 1.
I was so hoping for a DLC 😢 with the clocktower. I was disappointed. I was also disappointed that they took out the choice based option in the game. It really limited the replayability when they took it out
I was so pissed when I saw what they did to Nemesis in this remake. It's second form in the original was my favourite. At that point it seemed like it stopped playing and started going all out in it'a tenacity. Turning it into a giant Licker style monster was a massive waste. I know that you dont have access to it, but when possible, please play the original game. The remake really didn't do a good job of showing how much of a threat Nemesis was.

The hunters in RE0 and RE1 were the hunter alphas. The ones in the sewers in RE3 are the hunter gammas and the ones in the hospital are hunter betas

Carlos did have a comment on Dr. Bard tape. You'd need to stay still and listen to the whole tape. Entering the room cut it short.
I was so hyped for the return of Hunters in this game, then after fighting them a few times I hated them, their one hit kill is so cheap lol.
