Fire manipulation would make you insanely rich since a lot of countries have a summer forest fire season. (Canada, Australia, sometimes Greece and Spain get hit pretty badly) You could just show up and use your power and invoice for a few hundred million dollars each time. There are also a lot of fires that have been going for centuries like that one under the town in Pennsylvania that started inside the coal mine that got shut down after it went out of control. So you could sign a contract with the state government to save their city, walk in there and put it out and now they can live there again.
Cylops and Superman both have "laser vision" but they are both completely different. Cylops lasers are less like a beam of heat or fire and more like a punch, a force of energy. Superman can also concentrate his heat right through something but that is risky since you don't have x-ray vision.

Stuff like that happens to normal dudes. Now multiply it by 100,000. Yikes!

How can you discern what you want? Walk into a crowded room and try to pick out just one voice. Now imagine a block full of people. Now a city. Super speed does not only come with 1 power. You will also have the ability to dense up your molecules. This helps with countering friction, increase dirability and also phase through solid objects. The thing with superspeed in the DC Universe is that since most of it is powered by the speed force it basically cancels out every issue you can think of on having superspeed including time dilation [the seeing things in slow motion part and basically every thing related to your speed and relative time]. But if its not the speed force that powers you...then you 're cooked. People like Superman are the ones that have it the worst.
With some available protective gear, a human can easily withstand speeds of around Mach 1 - and this could well be considered superspeed. The description of superpower is also not entirely correct. I can easily tear my cat apart with my bare hands, but she still somehow manages to survive. 😉 And she doesn't mind when I pick her up.
"Realistically he would've ripped Debbie in half" No, he would've *pulverized* her, as well as everything in a fifty mile radius and put a country-sized crater around him. Nolan turned a planet into roadkill, even holding back a single quintillionth of a percent of his power he would still be strong enough to put a city-sized crater with a punch into the planet.
Slight correction, you moving at high speeds won't take an eternity because time is dilating. For you it'll be an instant. But imagine trying to watch a 2 hour movie that's X2 slower in ur perception. Not only that but u also have to eat like those gluttons in my 600 lbs life just to get by.
Not that they don't work, but how useful are they in a day to day? I can see super strength in construction and factory work, but nowhere else. Weightlifting competitions will not consider u natural so forget getting money from Olympic events. Imagine watching a 2 hour movie in X2 slow motion. YOU can move in superspeed, but the computer, or even the bad guy u punch, move so slow. Not to mention constantly needing to eat. I think that would drive u insane. Laser vision has absolutely no use in practical life. U ll just be a government lackey in the army from then on. Fire manipulation is the only useful one here, the most heroic one too if u get in the firefighting scene.
For speedforce: I sure that barry can change his awerness when he runs. He just runns on auto pilot. But when somethings comes up super reflexes helps to avoid obstacle. Flash is well sence to compare to other speedsters. (When somethings goffy comes up they can easily say that ''oh this is speedforce'' so .
As someone with hypersensitivity issues, everything being louder for me than it is for everyone else is awful. Some people's laughs hurt my hears, I have to wear earplugs in restaurants, when I was younger I even covered my ears for the first 10 minutes of movies in movie theaters. The other senses being stronger is also bad but they are much easier to manage, sound is unavoidable.
Even though I do feel like he nick picked at certain people with variations of their powers, I can very well still see what he means and it’s just understandable
Technically, Invisibility is the most useless power as theoretical if someone were to be completely invisible, they would be blind and unable to see when they are invisible.
Depends on how invisibility works. If you are able to manipulate and bend light around you so people see what is on the other side of you then assuming your power counteracts the bending of light for you then seeing while invisible is no problem.
Superstrength also not as good irl bc you would just slip if you tried to lift something heavier then the friction generated by your mass can take. Also anything bigger than a car would just destroyed from their own weight
If you had Cyclops optic blast you wouldn't need to where his ruby glasses as the only reason he has to is due to an injury he suffered when his powers first activated. Most superpowers suck if it's strictly just a power but most usually automatically gives you other abilities or have multiple applications for an example superhuman strength usually comes with superhuman durability/Invulnerability and the ability to develop precise muscle control which allows them to operate on a normal human level of strength.
Bro has the most negative bad faith takes on super powers, even in said movies you see them struggle with it or be extremely careful to the point of it becoming 2nd nature to be gentle, if you wanna apply real world physics to it yeah but superpowers are that precisely because they're fantasy that works somehow.
Homelander/Superman’s powers>>>>>>>> Only thing I would do is levitate and glow my eyes ominously like at the end of S1E1 of The Boys Auramaxxing fr it’d be so dope
"Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex" is a 1969 essay in which science fiction author Larry Niven details the problems that Superman would face in sexual intercourse and reproduction with a human woman, using arguments based on humorous reconciliation between physics, biology and the abilities of Kryptonians as presented in Superman comic books.
How bout most difficult powers to master if you really think about it. Example: people underestimate just how much brain power is needed to setup a portal trap. You have to account for the situation and surroundings, the actions and behaviors of the target, the location of each portal, the positioning of each portal, the direction of each portal, the mechanics/metaphysics of the portal, how to conceal a portal
Usain Bolt has the nearest real world thing to super speed. He finds it quite useful. Other than that most of these 'powers' would probably be most useful in at industrial situation, for example to dig tunnels or demolish derelict buildings. Catching super villains would be one of the more unlikely uses.
Fire manipulation is good, useful and very practical. I don't have to be a hero or villain i will just be a guy who manipulate fire and use that to my advantage like set a smoker on fire if they pissed off 😂😂
All in all every single one of those are dope Powers. But the thing with power is one gaining or having the ability to control said power. I still take on all those abilities. My favorite is both or actually superhuman strength superhuman speed and laser vision/cyclops optic glass. Which is not technically a laser, but I’ve been waiting for them to give him the power since forever.. not to replace his optic glass, but they give him an extra ability such as literally laser vision. His body absorbs solar radiation or solar energy, similar or identical to superman, which can make him superhumanly strong and give him the power of light so he’d be lower tier of Superman.
lazer vision would be good for self defense super strength characters are usually shown to be able to control it super speed is useful nonetheless due to the fact that usually the characters can react fast but it doesn't feel like an eternity to them, meaning me go wroom pyromancy is useful for camping or just for illumination And yeah super hearing is only good for spies and creeps
There is actually series that have a character with super hearing and her entire life gers ruined cuz she played in a rock band and now she can bearly stand being in a car cuz it hurts to lsten to the engine
Fire manipulation hands down is def a great real life power. Ur the single best firefighter. Don't be omega level with it and can stop a forest fire from your living room. Easy way to make millions.
If you need the speedforce while using super speed to save people than how quicksilver was able to save the people from in the mansion without using the speedforce? That was just pure speed like a-train.
For same reason reading minds/telepathy would be a horrible power. You get bombarded with so much useless information as most people random thoughts aren't worth knowing. It would likely ruin every relationship you have, as any negative thought people have about you then you'd know it. Like oh gosh that awful looks terrible on him she thinks when you walk up. Telepathy is easily one of the worst powers, as there's no morale use of it. You're basically always violating someone's will when you use it.
Even the most useless superpower would let you claim the million-dollar prize from the James Randi foundation, for demonstrating a genuine paranormal ability. You'd have to be first, though... so probably you want the speed.
You can control super strength, like I can lift 200 pounds I have enough strength in my hand to hold that weight, but I also can hold an egg without breaking it and although super strength would be on literally on other level, you can still control it by having focus 100% of the time
If your scale is in the hundreds of ton range, you would have to constantly be using minimal strength for everything. Everything around you would suddenly be super breakable with the slightest touch from you. Sure you could fine tune to where you get the right amout of force, but you'd probably have a painful learning period. This of course would be the issue of when you're not in full control, like when you're sleeping. If you have a dream where you kick or punch something, you knock the building over you're inside. You toss your girlfriend into a wall pulling the blankets off her in your sleep. What about when you sneeze? if your lungs are super strength as well, you would wreck everything when you sneezed or cough. The other side is if you don't have super durability, you would likely damage yourself if you punched anything too hard or lifted anything too heavy. Even if you could support massive weight, the ground under you couldn't and you'd get driven into the pavement if you picked something really heavy up since it put too much weight focused into a single point. I picture Super Strength being far more of a liability than an asset. Basically once you go beyond say like Captain America levels, it just seems like you'd spend more time avoiding using your power than using it.
The super speed and strength are only cons if the user has little control of their output. Laser eyes, fair point unless you are a welder they aren't super useful. Fire manipulation can basically make a simple lighter much more powerful with improved heating and lighting capabilities. Super hearing is fair because unless you mentally block out the noise somehow, you're going to be constantly suffering. Overall: 2/5
So, Spider level strength, or namor or aquaman with powers like Magneto, telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation also magic like Doc Strange are good to go. Also wolverine, Deadpool also iceman
Superspeed isn’t useless if you can control it and use it to add more force to your punches then it won’t be it run threw your enemies and make a bloody mess
I'll be honest, I have to hard disagree about the super speed. Sure long and boring chores will still be long boring chores for you, but having super speed still brings a TON of practical benefit. 1. You have effectively more hours in your day to do stuff, and if you have bottle time levels of speed that applies significantly more. Sure cleaning the house still feels long and boring, but when your done in 10 minutes and still have a whole day left to enjoy I bet it feels good. If nothing else at least I could take a nap. And for time bottling levels of speed, I mean my god man, university classes would become REALLY easy. 2. Travel is expensive, whether it's driving to work every day, or buying a plane ticket, you don't have to worry about for that crap anymore 3. Slight overlap with 2, but I can only imagine the kind of bank you could make as a speedster. Top tier body guard, your clients never getting shot. You could MELT through contracts as a bonded courier, or long haul trucker depending on how much you can take with you. Or you could be a one man power plant, the list goes on I'm sure 4. Most of the potentially life threatening situations you might have previously worried about are probably not a concern now. (I mean like traumatic injury from a car crash or being mailed by a bear, not like a heart attack) 5. Your probably never going to be late ever again 6. If you get speed healing then you'd never have to deal with another cold 7. Fit as heck ALL the time, and still get to binge junk food 8. Kind of an extension on #1 but with all the extra time you have, you could learn a lot of things. If you get superspeed thinking you'd probably be the smartest human alive Speedsters are just OP man
@@Mahlak_Mriuani_Anatman In comicbooks where super brawls are common place, having super strenght is useful. In real life...not so much as how often you need a forklift in your life? Not likely that often. You would have a powerthat put you into gross overkill if you were in over 100 tons club chaarcters like Superman, the Hulk and others operate at. If your scale is in the hundreds of ton range, you would have to constantly be using minimal strength for everything. Everything around you would suddenly be super breakable with the slightest touch from you. What about when you sneeze? if your lungs are super strength as well, you would wreck everything when you sneezed or cough. Now this is pissing me off that the minute he showed cyclops he called it laser vision! 25 yrs and you people still do get it!! CYCLOPS POWERS ARE NOT LASERS!!!! They are blasts of concussive force!!!! Jeez!! Get it damn straight!
if you can slow down time as much as you want it shouldn't matter with superspeed bc if you could perceive it then you can react to it so lets say your running at the speed of sound then you could react to everything so its not going to really take forever to get somewhere from your point of view what i would be bad cons with super speed is everything feels really slow so something like school/job another one is probably how much your going need to eat so your food bill will be crazy and the last thing is probably blowing out your eardrums bc your not near a sonic boom you are the sonic boom so youll probably be able go sub sonic so you dont destroy everyones ears and your own
Depends on your overall package and how high your strength is. If you aren't super humanly durable, you still can't take a punch that well either making being a fighter not the greatest choice. You can't just haul off and splatter another person in a UFC fight, so you would need master the right amount of force to not instantly cripple someone or your career would be over as you're clearly cheating. If you were say Captain America strong, you probably do great, but if you would Superman strong, you probably have more of liability with your powers than any use for them.
Super Speed Would not be used as much as you would end up killing people if you move to fast, as for Laser Vision money, and fire isn't bad bro come on hahaha
Flight i guess is another useless super power. I feel like being able to teleport is more efficient than flying and what are you gonna even use flying for? Unless you have some other powers like super strength or speed something like superman or omni-man has, flight is kinda useless. I feel like teleportation could be better as its faster and more efficient
Gotta disagree, just write it more consistently. A 2-year old child is insignificant in strength compared to the world's strongest man, but do strongmen (the strongest or relatively close ones) constantly accidentally hurt people or break stuff because they are so strong? I am pretty sure that's not the case. So the issue is just of control. If I (an average male who does do a fair bit of strength training) had the strength of the world's strongest man without physical training, then I would consider that a superpower. The biggest issue with lack of control seen in superhero films is how the characters instantly go from "no super strength" to "super strength" but if the characters developed the super strength passively instead of all at once, then the control problem shouldn't be an issue at all. Do strongmen brutalize their lady friends in the bedroom just because their hips are that OP? Don't think so.
I hope this was a joke. Cuz if not then bruh. I mean i wouldn't want to be cyclops but everything else? We all know they can inherently control their strength although maybe not on day 1 or 2 but still. Being the flash? How is this a problem? Besides he gets to eat alot

No, he would've *pulverized* her, as well as everything in a fifty mile radius and put a country-sized crater around him. Nolan turned a planet into roadkill, even holding back a single quintillionth of a percent of his power he would still be strong enough to put a city-sized crater with a punch into the planet.
Didn’t it take him 10 years to destroy that planet? Also a quintillionth is actually crazy way too much
@@corporatecapitalism No, I meant the planet Viltrum. He destroyed it in the comics by ramming through it with Mark and Thaedus.
But don't you have to learn how to control your powers? That's when most of these work.
Cyclops does nor have laser vision he has something called concussive force basically he push things to a low or high degree
Even though I do feel like he nick picked at certain people with variations of their powers, I can very well still see what he means and it’s just understandable
EVERY superpower would be great-I mean your the nost unusual person on the world, still a mindless cog in the money making machine but a SUPER COG.
So you think the ability to manipulate piss, sweat, and other unnameable things is good?
@@faith4657 as long as others can't do that, yes
@@IluminousOne-9.7.2 🤣
the dumbest statements I have ever heard in my life. please dont continue this series, Im being deadhonest
Technically, Invisibility is the most useless power as theoretical if someone were to be completely invisible, they would be blind and unable to see when they are invisible.
You'd have have some sensing ability to make up for that
@Mahlak_Mriuani_Anatman still impractical
Depends on how invisibility works. If you are able to manipulate and bend light around you so people see what is on the other side of you then assuming your power counteracts the bending of light for you then seeing while invisible is no problem.
I still enjoy when teens pull up with their subs bumping :) and I'm almost 50! I like your channel so far, good job!
When fantasy characters have excellent hearing, it's a superpower. When I have it, it's autism
Please make this a series!
Basically anything that can be considered a pure combat power. Even superheroes don't git into fights every day.
1:22 asking what I can do with laser vision? What a moronic question 😈😈
Actually, fire manipulation would be very useful if you were a blacksmith or a chef.
Make this a series. Was really entertaining to watch
I'd have all of that than being able to talk to fish🤦🏾♂️
I have a awesome ability the ability to make people gay
I disagree about pyro. He would be king of the cookouts.
Bro has the most negative bad faith takes on super powers, even in said movies you see them struggle with it or be extremely careful to the point of it becoming 2nd nature to be gentle, if you wanna apply real world physics to it yeah but superpowers are that precisely because they're fantasy that works somehow.
So basically, powers are lame if you can't be lazy
Homelander/Superman’s powers>>>>>>>>
Only thing I would do is levitate and glow my eyes ominously like at the end of S1E1 of The Boys
Auramaxxing fr it’d be so dope
I checked out after he said “super strength”
"Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex" is a 1969 essay in which science fiction author Larry Niven details the problems that Superman would face in sexual intercourse and reproduction with a human woman, using arguments based on humorous reconciliation between physics, biology and the abilities of Kryptonians as presented in Superman comic books.
Make it a series. I enjoyed the video
I'd argue to say with super strength you could dominate literally any sport
You should do a video about Magic. That would be interesting to hear your thoughts on that kind of subject matter.
Except for the DC serie flash brain, those are still better than the Nails growth Meg Griffin got as a super power.
I don't have to be a hero or villain i will just be a guy who manipulate fire and use that to my advantage like set a smoker on fire if they pissed off 😂😂
Totally agree with the speedsters.
His body absorbs solar radiation or solar energy, similar or identical to superman, which can make him superhumanly strong and give him the power of light so he’d be lower tier of Superman.
lazer vision would be good for self defense
super strength characters are usually shown to be able to control it
super speed is useful nonetheless due to the fact that usually the characters can react fast but it doesn't feel like an eternity to them, meaning me go wroom
pyromancy is useful for camping or just for illumination
And yeah super hearing is only good for spies and creeps
Then what would be the most useful superheroes irl is my suggestion for a follow up on this
1:16 what if you are a professional welder?
There is actually series that have a character with super hearing and her entire life gers ruined cuz she played in a rock band and now she can bearly stand being in a car cuz it hurts to lsten to the engine
Fire manipulation hands down is def a great real life power. Ur the single best firefighter. Don't be omega level with it and can stop a forest fire from your living room. Easy way to make millions.
Having the intelligence of the CW Flash would get ya killed real quick IRL!
If you need the speedforce while using super speed to save people than how quicksilver was able to save the people from in the mansion without using the speedforce? That was just pure speed like a-train.
You should definitely make it a series.
just wanted to remind about the fireFighter lol
but he said about that
In dragon ball, goku can lower his power to reach the power of a human being an increase it as he like, so thats a thing for super strength
Super hearing means that you can't go to most parties cause you could prolly hear someone doing "actions"
Dosent bother me tbh, its always hearing ppl that would make me go insane
Please make this a series and maybe do most useful super powers
Homelander crushed his foster mom to death so
The fire one could be really useful as a chef or in an industrial job
true
The super speed and strength are only cons if the user has little control of their output. Laser eyes, fair point unless you are a welder they aren't super useful. Fire manipulation can basically make a simple lighter much more powerful with improved heating and lighting capabilities. Super hearing is fair because unless you mentally block out the noise somehow, you're going to be constantly suffering. Overall: 2/5
So, Spider level strength, or namor or aquaman with powers like Magneto, telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation also magic like Doc Strange are good to go. Also wolverine, Deadpool also iceman
Superspeed isn’t useless if you can control it and use it to add more force to your punches then it won’t be it run threw your enemies and make a bloody mess
if Superman uses Super speed all time there won't be any stakes in the story
You have to expand your imagination, all these power can be useful
The ability to use ki like in Dragon ball would be cool but would require too much training.
2. Travel is expensive, whether it's driving to work every day, or buying a plane ticket, you don't have to worry about for that crap anymore
3. Slight overlap with 2, but I can only imagine the kind of bank you could make as a speedster. Top tier body guard, your clients never getting shot. You could MELT through contracts as a bonded courier, or long haul trucker depending on how much you can take with you. Or you could be a one man power plant, the list goes on I'm sure
4. Most of the potentially life threatening situations you might have previously worried about are probably not a concern now. (I mean like traumatic injury from a car crash or being mailed by a bear, not like a heart attack)
5. Your probably never going to be late ever again
6. If you get speed healing then you'd never have to deal with another cold
7. Fit as heck ALL the time, and still get to binge junk food
8. Kind of an extension on #1 but with all the extra time you have, you could learn a lot of things. If you get superspeed thinking you'd probably be the smartest human alive
Speedsters are just OP man
All this is of course assuming you don't melt your face the moment you move
I think all of these powers are useful. If you at least know how use them then you can get creative and find ways to use them in real life
What of quicksilver's speed in x-men
quicksilver has super speed. its likely he just has denser skin and that shit.
You can suppress your strength they always do that in movies 🤦♂
Fr, do ppl play pc games with their full strength? No
@@Mahlak_Mriuani_Anatman In comicbooks where super brawls are common place, having super strenght is useful. Sure you could fine tune to where you get the right amout of force, but you'd probably have a painful learning period where you'd break doorknobs and tear things off the wall.
This of course would be the issue of when you're not in full control, like when you're sleeping. If you have a dream where you kick or punch something, you knock the building over you're inside. You toss your girlfriend into a wall pulling the blankets off her in your sleep splattering her. Sex would be a huge issue, as you could kill someone easily and they going tell you harder or faster, then something breaks. What about when you sneeze? if your lungs are super strength as well, you would wreck everything when you sneezed or cough. The other side is if you don't have super durability, you would likely damage yourself if you punched anything too hard or lifted anything too heavy. Now this is pissing me off that the minute he showed cyclops he called it laser vision! 25 yrs and you people still do get it!!
CYCLOPS POWERS ARE NOT LASERS!!!! They are blasts of concussive force!!!! Jeez!! Get it damn straight!
I still prefer super man strength and flash speed both in real life
if you can slow down time as much as you want it shouldn't matter with superspeed bc if you could perceive it then you can react to it so lets say your running at the speed of sound then you could react to everything so its not going to really take forever to get somewhere from your point of view what i would be bad cons with super speed is everything feels really slow so something like school/job another one is probably how much your going need to eat so your food bill will be crazy and the last thing is probably blowing out your eardrums bc your not near a sonic boom you are the sonic boom so youll probably be able go sub sonic so you dont destroy everyones ears and your own
You should have way more subs
When you say those powers are useless, you forget about making easy money. With super strength, you can be the most famous UFC fighter or lifter.
If you were say Captain America strong, you probably do great, but if you would Superman strong, you probably have more of liability with your powers than any use for them.
what speedster do you know who doesn't have everything that makes the super speed work? perception and durability are innate in the power.
so your basically saying every cool power is useless ☠
Super Speed Would not be used as much as you would end up killing people if you move to fast, as for Laser Vision money, and fire isn't bad bro come on hahaha
You mean flash probably prefer drive a honda 😂?
Flight i guess is another useless super power. I feel like being able to teleport is more efficient than flying and what are you gonna even use flying for? Unless you have some other powers like super strength or speed something like superman or omni-man has, flight is kinda useless. I feel like teleportation could be better as its faster and more efficient
Flight can be good for traveling ngl especially if u live in an area with heavy traffic
Yeah, until you merge yourself with a random object.
@@Velocity_YT thats unless if there are objects floating in the air lol
All the powers you talked about are usefull.
Don't think so.
self control
I hope this was a joke. Cuz if not then bruh. I mean i wouldn't want to be cyclops but everything else? We all know they can inherently control their strength although maybe not on day 1 or 2 but still. Being the flash? How is this a problem? Besides he gets to eat alot
They are useful lol
Imagine you got super hearing and you hear people farting on a regular basis 🐸
You forgot invisibility. Why would you want to use this except for being a peeping tom?
