I watch only first video of the series to check out starting spots - my favourite part about civ.
Same, I then pretty much skim through to the end.
I love steamrolling the AI with rocket artillery, stealth bombers and XCOMs :D
Starting is good but i really hate that settling the 2nd city, it's so hard to decide.
I really think about that minumum 10 mins
I know for a fact that a flood plain becomes just "dessert" when you settle it. If you settle on flood plain-wheat (a 3-0 tile), the city will not get 3 food as the tile becomes a desert wheat - a 1 food tile. Maybe the oasis works similarly.
Flood plain is like marsh, it's a tile modifier that gets removed with settling or nukes.
Its the wheat that goes away not any yield from base flood plain
I don't think I've seen so many uncharacteristic filthy misplays in such a small amount of time haha. Love it

Filthy, I'm sure I'm not the only one that would really love a short text guide to deity SP, maybe with a few specific CIVS in question. Watching your videos is really enjoyable but I don't have too much time!
3 tiles with yield in capital; legendary AF.
I don't get why you get pottery first when you are going for worker after monument - it's always better to get mining or husbandry in that case...

Forgot to meet vatican city.
why not settle the weaker city first? that way it has a headstart on the other expands that are better so you can get timings on things like NC a lot faster
Extra, when you build city right on oasis, u lose fresh water around it.

How come you choose 6 players? Is it due to the length of the game? The balance? I've just been wondering because a was playing an 8 player game and it seemed pretty balanced. Is it just your preference?
The more AIs the more unfair it is on deity considering the huge disadvantage you're at
Also more risk of being next to a belligerent civ, or surroundered by several civs

What is with all these single player videos.....
is that a bad thing? he is still releasing FFA and 3V3 vids as well.
Just as a viewer it should be spaced out more. In my opinion the FFA is the best, but that being said I understand the need to mix things up and do 3v3 or SP. Just don't do 8 of a single thing in a row
The problem is that people love watching FFA, but multiplayer FFA is broken right now because the instant someone wars you, you become irrelevant. In multiplay FFA, you can play perfectly and still lose simply due to another player's idiocy. Doing a bunch of unique single player FFAs is the best solution to these problems.
