How do you like that Garrett Gold Trap pan? I had a version of the gold trap pan which was much older but recently got that exact pan. Do you notice it easier to trap gold with the offset circle ( base) of pan as opposed to other pans where the base is centered? My original old gold trap pan had the center centered like most pans. I have yet to really use my new off set one yet on the river. Used it a few times in a small tub. Look forward to see if it helps trap the gold. Likely try this week or weekend..
I like the pan a lot. The shape of it and the deep riffles help keep the heavier materials in one place. Can stand up to some more aggressive panning techniques :)
