Hey man! Been watching your videos for a few weeks now, I just got a Ranger Tremor and was wondering if you had any tips or quirks you notice on the Ranger when offroading to keep in mind!
hey thanks for watching! well i realized after almost 2 years with it mostly stock (1" level kit") and 20k off road miles the tremor is super capable! The engineers did a great job tuning this thing so off the lot its power/torque, clearances, fox shocks, etc. is more than what most people need. IMHO keep it stock (at least until warranty expires) unless you plan to rock crawl this thing. This would also prolong the life of its components, axle angles, drive train and maintain its factory warranty. Also to change the oil every 3-4k miles instead of the recommended 7500 miles if you want to keep it long term. Get some mud flaps because the grabbers will chuck a bunch of rocks onto your paint and switch out the side steps for rock sliders asap! also if you plan on leveling the tremor watch a few videos on it so you don't dislocate the cv axle like i did! huge pain in the ass..
@@HappyRockOffroad Awesome!! I really appreciate the reply! I will definitely invest in some mudflaps and change the oil earlier! Will look into the rocksliders too! Thanks so much! I’m located in Socal as well so maybe one day I’ll find you on the trails! 👍👍 Happy Truckin!
Hey brother! Thank you for writing back. I decided to stay down by lake hemet last week because I was scared going up by myself. I hope to go up thomas mountain next month. Can I ask which yellow post # you stayed at?? Any recommendations for camp locations? 😂 newbie here
