C Cade, Pat and I attended the same church growing up. She is a prolific song writer, composer, musician and director! I remember she taught the choir this song and we loved it!! She blessed my life! BTW, our mothers still attend that same church (Macedonia). Peace & Blessings to you!

Oh my goodness, this song brings back soooo many good memories!!! I was blessed to sing in a district choir (Peninsula Mass Choir/PM Choir) during my high school years under the leadership of Dennis Swindell, Pat Gill(one of the talented song writers on both Edwin & Walter Hawkins' albums) all highly gifted musicians and directors. We sang this song in concert and oh how the spirit of the Lord would bless! Thank you for sharing and bringing back some wonderful memories! :)

I remember when Patricia taught this song in LA like in '81 when I was in high school, before it was recorded for this project. I loved it then and then rrrreally loved it when I first heard it on this recording a few year later. I was like,"That's Pat's song!" I still love it today!
