Omg!!!!!. This song brought me through some rough times. I remember back in 1987, a young 18 year old Marine stationed in Okinawa Japan. A million miles away from home 😊, missing my family. This song was on a cassette tape a Christian brother gave me. It became my battle cry. I joined a church on the island and got closer to God. This exact version was on my cassette tape. I'm almost in tears now listening to it after so long.
Almost in tears with this one! I was coming out of a sinful lifestyle, and God began His restoration process in my Soul. I believe Lawrence Matthews (the Brother who sings Lead) was one of the late, great, incomparable Gospel Singer, Darryl Coley's cousins. So glad the Lord dropped this song in my spirit again, and now I can add it to my Ultimate Worship Slay List!!
This song is a true testament to a relationship with God. Sometimes we just don't understand our Father's reasoning, timing, placements, etc... As children we question. Hallelujah!

I have been waiting for God to Vindicate me. I have been singing this song and praying that prayer for God to Vindicate me, I can see God hands moving and striking my enemies dead, moving them around and spreading them thin, turning them into a ball of confusion. my enemies have been confounded and at the same time he hid me from the strong enemies they were too strong for me and the hurt and pain was overwhelming but my God took them out of this world and placed my feet in a wide room. God has given me peace from the enemy. praise God for all of his mighty and magnificent works. There is NO God like Jehovah. my Lord.
The patriarch Job felt the same way during his bitter night of trials; especially when his so-called friends showed him little or no sympathy. All of us probably need to take a good look at ourselves like Job did and repent of our mistakes (Job 42:5-7). I wish I could get vindicated like Job did (verse 7).

@@MrCJ-qz9dl I know how it feels....Same here and I have a Sis in Christ I am going through things with and we know exactly how it feels to wait for vindication especially after a long period of time after being slandered by word of mouth or by convoluted evidence not showing the whole thing just to make us look bad and when we explain ourselves people don't let us do so and they trust the other people who lie on us....Then we are accused of almost everything to everything in the book even by Christians because of things and they think that the fakes are real....It got to the point where even those who once defended our name even publicly distanced themselves or walked away from us.... I just keep praying to God for vindication and breakthrough even though all seems to get worse....Even though at times I feel to stop praying or to give up because I see wicked people prospering God helps me to keep going and I will crawl to Heaven if that's what I have to do....I know how you all feel when you say the 1st verse is the story of your life especially because that is the story of my life too as well as a Job season too so I will be praying for you all and everybody who needs a breakthrough as well. God will work everything out in his best time.
It has now come to the point where we have been gradually losing everybody and everything even those who were once for us too have gone and we going through things too rough and everything getting worse and worse for us and now we don't know who to trust anymore....This Job season has been going on for years now with me and in the case of my Sis and I we have been going through this for almost 4 years now....I am now in the stage of where I have been melting down a lot before God and crying out to him to hear us but it seems like the wicked are getting away somehow with what they are doing even though it is not adding up and they seem to add other fake people to join them and also they brainwash the real ones even by showing them convoluted evidence and others who once knew the truth and defended us both in the open and behind closed doors and once deciphered what is going on switched up on us because of witchcraft and poor judgement and the wicked continue to seem to get away with their nonsense....My Sis and I hardly have anybody now and we are feeling lonely now and don't know who to trust and there are times I am tempted with suicide but I have been pushing through for Jesus and the devil has tried to mess with my mind but I have been rebuking him and crying out to God and God is my Sis and I comfort but I believe this that even though we don't seem to see breakthrough in the sense that it doesn't seem to show up and doesn't look like it will happen I believe God is too faithful to fail....God will vindicate us and come through for us in the best time in these last days even though these times are too wicked God will not leave us stranded forever as he is the same yesterday,today and forever....May God vindicate all who needs vindication in these times as well....

I have this on cassette. I had the best stereo system that got destroyed in a fire last year. My pastor preached about God vindicating us this morning, and this song came to mind.
