My first time recording with any choir was this recording. When I tell you it impacted my life immensely, that would be an understatement. The rehearsals, classes, fellowship and nightly musicals was a foretaste of what heaven will be like. Been a part since 1980, as a part of the Rochester, NY Chapter, later the Atlanta, and finally Bay Area Chapter.
yes-THAT NAME-JESUS!! i love him so much!!! and the name of my father-the I AM!! the almighty GOD!! that name!! i love it!! another gospel classic!! from edwin!! one of my favorites-since my teens! and still is -today!
It was summer of 88 when I first heard this song sitting in my mom's Cadillac at the family reunion with my anti-social self. I will never forget it being my introduction to La Shun Pace. I had to travel to Atlanta and visit her church just to see her in person.

@RCMCPREZ Had the privilege of being at the final rehearsal and the live recording session of this album. One of the most awe-inspiring earthly musical experiences in my life at that time. This song literally made hair stand up in the room. great post!!! Sounds like Lawrence Matthews also on lead with Shun.
