This entire album kept my my family and friends alway's singing together. Now my children are in their 30's and 1 late 20's and remember the words like yesterday. This is and alway's will be the BEST and real Gospel music !!!

I love this song. I had to smile when each section sang the vamp. The sopranos sounded like little girls and it reminded me of the children's choir when I was young.

PELHAM ONE TWO THREE 1 2 3 The Hawkins brothers, Walter or Edwin are known for taking bits of R&B classics and creating new gospel music classics, they were true heroes of modern and contemporary gospel choir music, you would not have contemporary gospel music today without them, they were game changers.
You should hear “Rescue Me” by Tramaine Hawkins, the former wife of Bishop Walter Hawkins. The beginning intro was taken from a small horn section part in “Skin Tight” by the Ohio Players.

Can you please tell me what Instruments/equipment/software you are using to rip your albums? Having done so to about every Hawkins record I have, your files are so much more lively and balance through the frequencies and mine do not sound that tight. Could use some pointers. Thank you and thanks for keeping this blessed music going.
I use Izotope RX3 Advanced. There is a learning curve, but you will get it with some practice. I hope this helps.
