Your Material, Your Machine, YOUR very own cut settings!

I always share my cut settings when asked, but it's much more helpful if I show you how to figure out the right settings for you! Each machine and each blade is different, so let's start treating them that way.
This Silhouette Studio tutorial will walk you through the steps to find your perfect cut settings, so follow along - maybe even take some notes.
I used the Cameo 5 to demonstrate, even though the Curio 2 with the electrostatic mat would have worked better for this design. This technique will work with all of the Silhouette machines!

Very helpful, thanks. I'm still getting the hang of things and think I may have been cutting some things too high, as my may has some quite deep cuts in it. I'll retest some of my settings. That mandala is very intricate and you managed to get it to cut almost perfectly! I've also fouud third party mats to be much more resiliant, but the adhesive often transfers from them, much more so than with the Silhouette mat.
