Hi. I hope this helps you understand your character a bit more. If it did please leave a like and a sub. Thank you so much for watching!
My chair is squeaking i need a new one...shit
I forgot to mention that poise is how well you can take an attack and not stagger. The higher poise = the better. Also your memory slots shows how many spells and incantations you can have equipped. Also you cannot actually see when i take my armor off that it shows 49.000. I forgot to edit that in...

Hey, nice video and good/useful tips!
When you go over the damage portion in the video, you mention that it's "Heavy attack" damage that is represented as 381 dmg, i am rather certain that this is incorrect. The first value (329) is the base damage of your weapon and this number wont change from scaling/buffs/weapon buffs (That only goes up by leveling the weapon) , and the second value (381) is that the scaling gives you as an addition on top of the base damage. This number can also change from adding temporary buffs to your weapon, like "craigblade" ash of war, for example.
Other buffs, life Flame grant me strength, or talismans like Ritual sword talisman, will not change the weapons damage-numbers, but the added damage from these buffs will be visible under the "Attack power" under the "Status" option in your menu.
In addition to the damage negation part. There's also a number in front of the percentage damage negation for each damage type. This number i believe is the "Flat" damage negation that you (But also all mobs have their own) have against that certain damage type. So it would be subtracted as a flat number for each damage instance. I don't know if this negation is calculated before the percentage negation portion, or after.
This number will go up from leveling certain stats that correspond to that type of negation. This is why weapons with split damage generally are considered worse (Exception if the enemy you are fighting are weak against your damage types) Since your attacks have to break through two separate flat reductions, instead of one.
Your characters flat reduction will go up on all damage types, just by leveling any stat, but it may differ on how much it gives in each category depending on what stat you level (It seems that INT gives more flat intelligence reduction compared to dexterity for example)
    Best regards :)

"and the second value (381) is that the scaling gives you as an addition on top of the base damage. "
Thanks for the input! The first and second number added together is heavy attack. The second and first number scales with your attributes

@@Capper_Bra Thanks for replying to my comment. I did some testing because this really sparked my interest. I leveled up a "Zweihander" to lvl +24 on both my lvl1 character and my lvl180 character. (The level 180 character has 25str and 65 Dex, whilst the lvl1 character has 10 str and 10 Dex) The Zweihander gets 311 dmg in the first (Left) section as damage, regardless of what level my attributes are, you can also see that it gets the same from both "Keen" and "Heavy" infusion, both gets 311 dmg regardless of attributes in either Str or Dex. Note that that "Standard" affinity has a higher base damage, to weigh up for the better scaling attribute a keen or heavy affinity gives you.
That the both values are equivalent to heavy attack i also couldn't reproduce in my tests, since i have 710 attack power from two handing the Zweihander on my "Status page" and the same from adding the two damage values under my weapons tab. I do over 1100 damage from a non charged heavy attack (Piercing damage) on a troll and this is without any weapon buffs or talismans. I believe if it was the heavy damage number that these two numbers represented, that my heavy attack would do LESS than the total of the two numbers, since all mobs have their own defense stats that would reduce it after recalculating the damage. A single light attack does between 721-748 from about testing 10 swings, and even this is more damage than the indicated attack-power.
I couldn't find a negation chart for the regular stone trolls, but i did find the negation stats of the "Stone digger" troll boss in Limgrave, and it does have 35% damage negation to all damage types except for "Strike" damage, where the negation is only 10%. I would assume that my heavy attack would do about 710 - 248,5 = 461,5 dmg (35% negation to "pierce", and since the attack is "Pierce" dmg).
This is just from my own testing so i am note sure if there are hidden mechanic underneath this that makes my info invalid. I also doesn't understand what the "Attack power" number actually represents, because it doesn't seem to correlate with my attacks, even after recalculating the enemies resistances.
      Best regards :)

This is a very good overview. The only thing I would've changed it specifying that the scadutree fragments / reversed ashes only have effect inside the DLC area. If that point was iterated more clearly then the vid would be perfect, great work regardless

I see. It just depends on how you interpret it

@@Capper_Bra You do, but then later on (around 1:50) while about armor, you randomly go back into scadutree stuff, and show a graph for how much extra damage you deal and negate with them. This could easily confuse a new player, especially since you don't reclarify that these extra modifiers only happen while in the DLC.
Not only that, but later on (4:15) you're showing your stats page while inside the shadow realm, which shows wrongly inflated stats that isn't going to match or resemble the base game's standards.
Your coverage of the scadutree stuff in general is very scattered throughout the whole video. It's a confusing mechanic, and the way you went about showcasing it in this video was very unorganized and I could see it being very confusing to someone who's trying to understand it all.
This isn't a wrong interpretation of the video. Your video is meant to be short, simplistic, to the point and informative. Scattering information about a somewhat complicated, DLC-exclusive mechanic like this does the exact opposite of what the video is trying to achieve.
