I like that she's in her own spiritual world when she plays and can make the performance work magnificently with or without help from extraordinary accompanists. And believe me this particular extraordinary accompanist is as good as it gets.
I frickin' love Margaret Glaspy. She's one of my favourite discoveries of 2017. I truly can't wait for her next LP. The tone she gets from her Teles and Strats with small Champs is amazing. I always thought she'd be suited to Supro as well. Also, she's freakin' wearing a Meshuggah shirt! Wah?!
Good lord. Margaret took care of business on guitar and her song and vocals are absolutely exceptional. Such a bright talent. Unbelievable.

This song gives me goosebumps every time! If you get the chance to see her live, DO IT. I saw her at a small, intimate venue last summer (Caffe Lena in Saratoga, NY) and it was fantastic! So raw and powerful and lovely.

I'm following Julian Lage since I first saw him on Linda Manzer's site playing one of her guitars (about four or five or I don't know how many years ago) and I so far loved every single thing he did ever since, be it solo, be it in his various bands, be it with Chris Eldridge, be it with Gary Burton and so forth. But this one here struck me as...well, you read it. I think Britney Spears is spelled like this, btw.
