There's huge competition among hotels in this area for guests, Sri lanka was lacking infrastructure for the amount of guests coming in back in 2019 and it's been growing since then, then came the Easter attacks which repelled the tourists & the wuhan virus, only now things are normalizing but now country is in a financial crisis , its his job to get many guests as possible show that his hotel is doing well & location is good and guests reaction through social media so that more guests would come, hopefully in this trying times, the monthly income he generates will reflect on waiters to his salary. it's funny what he's doing but not when you understand everything thats going on. Had we revived the same tourist influx from 2019 without interruption im sure you wouldn't see the resident manager there.
In American terms $60 is a "drop in the ocean", meaning almost zero payment compared to the beauty of the hotel and the magical location. The room is decorated in colors and style as part of the natural landscape of mountains (the headrest of the bed) and the colors of nature are clearly visible in the room - greens, blues and browns. Not to mention the balcony that contributes to the peace of mind of the guests. The title of the US property business is "Location" and this provides all the answers to the property business.
Grand Serendib Hotel is the "wish fulfillment" of every guest as well as mine.
Hana, you can not get a motel room on I-95 for a 60 bucks. The Sri Lankan hotels, from low end to higher, certainly know how to do things right!
That morning view with the mountain in the back at the pool is just insane! Def need to give Sri Lanka a visit once this is just amazing.🔥
