The Bedale Hunt - An ARD Mediathek DE production

Last year, the BHSA was approached by Ard Mediathek, which is a German production company. Ard Media were doing a documentary about dogs and the different relationships they have with humans. Amongst others, some of the relationships documented was a homeless man with his dog, one that was allowed in jail, and another that was at the end of it's life. They came to us because they wanted to include the special bond between a huntsman and his hounds. We reached out to the Bedale hunt and Ross Crawford, who agreed to do two days filming. We think you'll agree that the film is wonderful and really captures the daily life at kennels, how much care is taken to look after the hounds and the special bonds that are formed.
