@@AlexanderTheEvenGreater I know that. But it is illegal to hunt Foxes with packs of hounds and dig them out. stop the bullshit and just admit even to your self what is going on. Also I kindly answered your other question about Foxes and chickens, anything else to say on that?

Well I never did. The riders want their horses to jump fences and race across fields. Why on earth do you need trails and dogs in order to do that? That could happen easily, safely and simply, by putting markers across fields and hedges using flags.(see racecourses). I have lived in the real countryside all of my 78 years and realise there is a breed of people who have no idea about the countryside and how to treat it. They can be split into three groups. 1. Hooray Henrys who are ignorant of true country life and wear fancy tweed and expensive riding gear and go home afterwards so nanny can bathe them. 2. Sniveling creeps who love touching their forlocks and doing anything, absolutely anything to ingratiate themselves with the landed gentry. Possibly using Andrex on their masters and misresses nether regions. 3. The landed gentry. For years landowners have obliged their offspring to marry into other landowning families. There are not that many families to choose from, which results in the problems that arise from a very small gene pool. Shame the editing spoilt it, despite paying, as seems likely, the profits from a dozen hunt balls.

Considering how many times he claimed to have close control of the pack, all the footage of hounds chasing foxes right in front of riders doesn't look very good.
So he says sabs mean well but cause more harm than good. Would have loved to have you ask him how many illegal fox hunting incidents have been brought to light and how many subsequent expulsion of hunts have taken place WITHOUT pressure from sabs and/or footage taken by sabs sabs? How many hunts has the british hounds sports association called out for illegal hunting on their own accord, WITHOUT involvement from sabs or anyone else? I'm willing to bet he wouldn't be able to name A SINGLE ONE. That tells you all you need to know about how they feel about illegal fox hunting.
Argh, good old @pumpkinhead8593 rears his head on here aswell. Not happy with trolling other groups on Facebook pal. The truth is what you see and hear as is the case with this interview. Not the spurious and heavily edited footage courtesy of the Hunt Sabatours Associations little bands of followers. Oh, by the way shame Mr Allman can't attend for the next five years... 😂
@@EDH2019 Either way, he wouldn't be able to point out one instance where illegal fox hunting was brought to light solely by the bhsa and I know neither can you. My point stands.
@@pumpkinhead8593 The very existence of the Hunt Sabatours Association was brought about by those people who have a very serious problem with what they perceive to be an activity involving well heeled and priveliged toffs which in this day and age couldn't be further from the truth as you well know. If animal welfare was the sole priority of the HSA then they would not have time to dress up like terrorists and behave in the manner they do. You, like me will be well versed on the current Hunting Act which, has done absolutely nothing other than create a far far bigger problem for the wildlife concerned ie the quarry. If you cannot understand and accept that hunting with hounds and possibly shooting in some instances can be beneficial to quarry species then you really do not know what you are talking about. The Hunting act in it's entirity was nothing more than a one million pound Labour Party political failure. Country pursuits are and will always be too big and powerful as has been proven since 2005 for the so called Animal rights movement to be effective. Honest interview, hounds naturally hunt, like cats, watching them may seem abhorrent to some and to others it is a wonder of nature. Attenborough is obviously a fan of hunting as he often has scenes of animals hunting other animals in his tv series, and people love his programmes. I can't really see the difference apart from the viewer is in the comfort of their home and those following a hunting lion whether in the Serengeti National park or on horseback following some hounds. I must be missing something - maybe a brain - as I can't see the difference.
What an interesting observation you make ; quite right too! Hope you won’t mind my using that argument myself in future. Glad you enjoyed the interview and thanks for the comment x
Be my guest and use it as often as you'd like. I don't watch any Packham programs but I dare say he has indulged in the viewers like of the hunt but probably steered clear of the actual kill. @@StrictlyShootingUK
The difference is that a lion is part of the natural food chain. It's a wild animal, it kills to survive, sometimes very cruelly but that's unfortunately part of nature. These hounds on the other hand, are not part of nature, they have been artificially bred by humans and without humans they wouldn't even exist. No foxes would be cruelly chased and torn apart by these packs if it wasn't for humans making it so, for their own amusement. It's a blood sport, nothing more. You're comparing two entirely different scenarios.
Why would the dogs still have a strong hunting instinct when they are now being trained to follow aniseed? Surely they would only be a danger to the local sweet shop once re-homed?
The law allows hunting with dogs. That's true. Which proves that the blood sport of "fox hunting" is not true hunting at all. Stop these sick people getting off on ripping helpless animals apart, for good!
This fella does no alot but they will never tell the real truth, I'm an ex gamekeeper and lifelong working countryman some things are best left too country folk and some left too townies as a gamekeeper I didn't need the hunt I could do a better job myself and did!
247 hunts too many so it is hunting then, thought it was trail hunting!! And why train them to hunt foxes if it’s banned! How the hell can you compare one man and his dog to fox hunting totally it’s different. In other words they get a dead fox tie it to a quad bike and drag it through the countryside. Why keep training hounds to hunt the scent of a fox if it’s outright banned!? I’m not saying that foxes shouldn’t be controlled but done in a humane way with a good marksman and rifle for a swift kill, but this barbaric outdated activity should be stopped because the so called trail or drag hunting is nothing but a smoke screen.
