This "live" clip of Dusty just emphasizes what a TRUE LEGEND she was/is.How many of today's "pop" artists would be able to sing infront of an audience accompanied by an orchestra without all the accompanying artificial electronic aids.Dusty was a TRUE entertainer;its wonderful to hear her (slightly) alter some of the tempos to the first two songs in the clip and they are as equally enjoyable as the original recordings;I also admire the way how she engages with her audience with her body language. Thanks, and cheers from Australia Darren !Rod.
Astonishingly good live performance. I like these versions better than the originals. She had it ALL--voice, class, charisma, beauty and style! Simply WOW!
The greatest female voice ever to come out of the UK, Dusty could sing anything, fast or slow, it's so sad we have never had anyone to match Dusty's voice
She had finally made it as a solo artist on the Ed Sullivan, New York City 'Realy Big Show' I remember this as a 12-year-old in front of the family's Black and White TV. Thank you, Darren.
The Greatest Singer from The British Invasion should have been the correct presentation! Brilliant and powerful performances of Dusty! Pure gold! Thank you, Darren! 🌹💖
Thanks so much for this upload....Fantastic....Dusty really enjoying herself and giving a Fantastic performance...A true solo superstar in the making......
Dusty always preferred to sing live like this. This is the Dusty that I love -- the early Dusty -- the songs, that hairstyle, the mascara, the pale lips.... before she had to do all that big hair & ballady stuff.
Excellent performance live and raw just the way I love her. She’s singing and acting relaxed and confident. Belting out those two great songs powerfully. Love you Dusty. Thank you Darren
Nobody did it better. Interesting that Sullivan allowed below the waste shots- what a difference from when Elvis first was on the show. Heady times they were !
Great archive clip, but a rather unexpected way to be introduced by Mr Sullivan, he says she is really an O'Brien from London, and @ 4:00 I doubt Dusty would ever meet or know Mr Sullivan's golfing partner.
Amazingly beautiful woman with an amazingly beautiful voice. A standard to which others are measured.

Dusty always exuded great optimism. I wish those years would come back. Maybe in heaven.
Astonishingly good live performance. I like these versions better than the originals. She had it ALL--voice, class, charisma, beauty and style! Simply WOW!
59 years later, Dusty still kicks butt!
She was great and much missed, Gos bless her

I was in the audience that night as a guest of Gerry and the Pacemakers. A lucky eleven year old kid.
Me, too.
Me too.
How old were you?
WOW What a Talent
"I Only Want to Be with You" was Dusty's first Top 40 song, and it's still my fav song of hers.
There was nothing like cruising in my 57 Chevy and Dusty blasting on the radio.
Perfect performance. Thanks for sharing
A beautiful woman with a sexy soulful voice..may God rest you Dusty..

Yeah,if I die,hope I can see her up there
It sounds like he introduces her as Lilian O'Brien at the start. I know her name was O'Brien.
hello!! I loved the video, question, would you have the video of the performance of the los cinco Latinos on the ed sullivan show? 1964 ❤❤❤
Sorry, Dusty is my domain.
Great archive clip, but a rather unexpected way to be introduced by Mr Sullivan, he says she is really an O'Brien from London, and @ 4:00 I doubt Dusty would ever meet or know Mr Sullivan's golfing partner.
Correct! But she did get the name down.
Her hair (wig?) doesn't move.
Hair Spray.
Died too soon
I loved Dusty Springfield, couldn't get enough of her songs, a powerful voice and an excellent performer, pure class.
