From the DVD, Once Upon A Time (1964-1969). It's a great DVD and filled with amazing Dusty performances. I highly recommend it!
Dearest ,Darling, Dusty so surely missed. I was lucky enough to see her live 3 times. Far prettier in person than the camera ever revealed. And delicate and petite. But a GIANT talent.

better than streisand ...dusty's voice is much more agile ...streisand can sing long phrases but can't navigate short snappy musical phrases its why she really only does ballads..dusty could SWING..she is naturally more musical than streisand too ....

I bet it's challenging to sing and wanna dance about, but you've got this ridiculous monster wig on top of your head, sticking up like big helmet & you don't want the mammoth falling to the left or the right. She was such an amazing voice, hiding underneath the eyelashes and beehives.
In an interview Dusty said that sometimes her wigs would arrive with dents in them because they'd fallen during transit! 😂
I Love her energy, the interplay between her and Doug the bass player is too cute.

I was born on 1965.
I remember watching her in 1955 on a tiny black and white TV 12 in TV with old vales always breaking down, the vibrations from the speaker loosened the valves lol.
