ALL THE CLOTHES I BOUGHT IN ONE YEAR (basically a thrift haul lol)

A try-on of all the clothes I bought in 2019 (basically a thrift haul). I've been trying to be a more conscious consumer and buy less, and this video is a way for me to look back and see how I did! Includes clothes, shoes & accessories, and running gear.
Edit: just realized I forgot 2 items - a thrifted Adidas Classics t-shirt in England for around $6, and soft-shell hiking pants on Amazon for $40 (I went to 2 thrift stores but couldn't find any, and they were crazy expensive in REI).

How to make your clothes last:
-Fix when damaged (you can have it fixed, too)
-Shorten if needed
-Handwash if you have the time (always handwash wool and silk)
-Air dry
-Don't wash if not needed
*If you're bored with it:
-Change the buttons
-Try some embroidery (it's actually pretty easy)
-Use accessories
-Add things on (lace, patches, pins etc.)
-Paint it, could be a simple design or a completely different colour

Thank you for watching! Yes, I think making your clothes last is really underrated - it's much better to buy less and wear your clothes as long as possible than to buy new, even from sustainable brands.

I love how relatable this is. I can definitely relate to tagging along with family when they go shopping and ending up buying something you typically wouldn't. I also love the transparency and how you talk about making mistakes, such as getting something you think you'll wear and then realizing it's not what you expected it to be. I appreciate how honest you are and makes me feel like I'm not the only one that struggles with that. As far as sustainable athletic wear, I would recommend Girlfriend Collective. I recently bought some of their biker shorts with pockets and really love them.
