The black linen pants, when you get them hemmed/tailored you could also get the inner thigh reinforced with the excess fabric that was hemmed off. It's sad when cool ethical brands shut down. Tonle is one in particular I'll miss, I love the moon phase print jumper I got from their second hand platform. I get the majority of my clothes second hand and I find it difficult to buy online from ethical brands because of clothing fit issues and sensory issues. Which really sucks when I there are basics I have to buy new.
Thank you for the tip! That's perfect, as when I "hemmed" the pants originally, I actually left all the extra fabric and just sewed it up into the pant leg. Ugh yes, Tonle was a wonderful brand. I was really sad about VETTA and Nube. I'm glad you have that jumper that you'll be able to treasure from Tonle! Totally understand - it can really be a hit or miss buying online, so sometimes we just have to do what's practical. It's awesome that you're able to get most of your clothes secondhand though! I got you! I would recommend Encircled for sure and Anne Mulaire as well. Both are Canadian brands and have nicer leggings. There may be some other brands in my Canadian sustainable brand post that also have them: imperfectidealist.com/sustainable-canadian-clothing-brands/
