@@ed61730 it´s just the render engine and a little components - Maya and 3dMax have an Indie version - full version but limited to annual income to beginners and with a great price.
@@ClausBohm-v9f What's the definition then? C4d lite is made for people who are starting out and our not professional making money for 3d yet, also gives access to people less than the threshold which is what most 'indie' licenses are. Just 'if you make less that ***' you can use indie license.
Hyped when I saw ‘improved’ Boole modifier. I can only hope they are adding more and this is first iteration as it’s not much different, such as bevels on booleans, or some interactive Boolean tools we see in blender plugins.
Creating particles isn't the real challenge; the main issue arises when the movements become complex, and render engines fail to handle them. I love Cinema 4D; it's even my main software, but they've never managed to solve this problem

Naww I own my tools. I’ve bought perpetual license of Houdini and love it! Happy to pay the maintenance, happy to own! Rentware is for saps!
Make a full features indie version at a price comparable to Maya Indie, Houdini Indie and Max Indie for those under 100K in sales and hobbyists.
