my pleasure. Glad you found it helpful. New workflow tutorial coming today or tomorrow. This time it's about working with CAD files. So watch out for that.
Amazing tip, I am recently planning to execute a pet project involving a product showcase in 3D and coming from After Effects this was easy to follow along. You Sir have earned a new sub. Looking forward to such awesome C4D tutorials/tips and tricks.

Thank you this is really cool. I always used a very similar method but with two nulls and a locked camera plus target. You can kinda create a gimbal with it. Will try this soon!
technically it's the same. And in many cases it will work the same. But as outlined in the video, you get a much smoother result once you start modifying multiple values. There's a reason why all these artists promoting their custom rigs.
This is a good way to do things!.. very “cinematography” way of thinking! - is that main parented null also set as the target null? if not.. .then if you set it in the camera as the “target null” it should always keep your object in frame no matter what i suspect. One less manual thing to worry abouty

Correct, the main null is simply set as the target. Thanks CJ!
Huh, I use to build this exact rig with nested nulls for x y z values. This is way easier!
