lol dude the intro with the music to maxon crashing is so insanely good 10/10 brilliant five stars liked twice and subscribed twenty five times across multiple accounts thank you for the joy DK
With 2024 operating well, I'm not touching any new Maxon software. It's always a gamble. Excuse me if I'm less than cheerful about Maxon "updating" anything. I think they should do one release every 2 years, without all the new toys and just focus on stability and making the software 10 times faster.
:) funny... the way you put it. We need to acknowledge, there are giga improvement's. Scene size can be now 100x bigger, it's is more stable than R16 or many other versions. Saying all that I still hate plugins update and all the BS going around it.
Sure, they've improved it and made it faster but I can still create a scene in a couple of minutes that can make the viewport 2 fps. The mentality with software companies is to add, add add and not address real problems like core stability and speed. Every update Cinema 4D should be faster. If that's all they worked on until the end of its life I would be happy with that because I have all the tools I need
Nice app, C4D but the crashes ruin it for me. On a Mac Studio M2 Ultra it crashes at least every hour. It stocks and the computer restarts. Can’t believe this is still happening with an app I pay 100usd monthly for. And because of the crashes it costs a lot more. Whenever I can use Blender I do, because of this. Blender is free and never crashed into a system restart.
Redshift should be free for at least 1 GPU, many of my collogues/freelancers have switched to unreal and Blender as C4D feels too overpriced as free software's have 80% of the features anyway.

@@marcus_ohreallyus Yep, I agree, MX asses customers behavior. Most of them celebrated new UI look and software is still unstable.
If you're wondering why the double ppst, im doing an experiment on the totuve algorithm.
C4d 2024 has been extremely buggy. Having to reinstall it several times in the last month etc. not sure what the hell they have done
