Turns out I left the auto play on the TV and went to bed. Got the TV on this morning and this was playing. I got intrigued by some of the rigging method for the bait. (I fish for salmon in the Pacific northwest rivers.) The technical details and passion you guys have about carp fishing is amazing! I've seen carp in some of our lakes and no one ever goes fishing for it.

Awesome lads, makes a change from other tackle companies that just want to advertise there products, this is definitely more about the actual fishing than hammering us with the latest bits of tackle that you "must" buy, can't wait for part 4.
Kristopher Bell Volume 2 was pretty focused on the comercial purpose. With Korda being the worst of them all.
I prefer Nash's dvd's because they do like 7/10 part angling and 3/10 part product marketing. And even the marketing parts are told in a very neutral way so I don't really feel pushed to buy one of their new products.

Absolutely superb video.
Definitely a learning curve to use the advanced features but the basic features are pretty intuitive
Hooklinks nowadays seem solely a competition of how many of OUR products can we possibly incorporate to "improve" the mechanics.

So what happens to the discharged leads? Surely you will end up with a lake full of lead???
Little lesson there boys and girls, harrys rig using pva foam....... when the foam melts the rig sinks leaving a coil of hooklink up in the water. It always happens with a soft hooklink thats too long. Foam is ok for stiff rigs or shorter semi stiff hooklink material, otherwise be carefull. Test it in the bath and see for yourself what ur doing, its not quite as simple as its made to seem by your heroes.
Very true Mark, however Harry does not mind about that particularly as he feels it still gives him better hook bait presentation on top of the weed. It certainly didn't seem to put the fish off too much. If you think about the situation where he was fishing, over weed with his led plunging into the weed, a stiff hook link would have stuck directly up out of the weed and not been supple enough to lay across the top of it, creating an even worse presentation. To get round the problem of it sticking up a small amount of putty could have been used in the centre of the hook link.
Heli rig would have been my choice
great dvd would of loved to see more in the product view , and hands off to mark pitcher, another funny and well fished feather .
Nice simple challenge mark catch a common carp 35lb or over using nothing but red maggots u can spod pellets and corn but hookbaits only maggots 24hrs

I've asked this question for over a year on so many videos! No reply..!!. What's the best (cheapest rod and reel???) We cannot all pay out £200 on bait or expensive rigs for carp! Try help us who want to fish pls!!

WHY do you guys lift the fish so far from the ground? Every fishery I go to states Don't lift them more than a few inches up, then when they inevitably twist themselves out of our hands they won't get hurt, not a good thing to show to new anglers. Makes me mad, also the amount of you that keep them out of water for far too long after they've fought for their lives to escape us, I really think fish handling is not taught properly and it needs to be taught from the Top down (You guys).
