Honestly, I hate this list. Should've been called: "Top 9 JDM model cars that I sell in my store.....and an F40." This list doesn't even scratch the surface of all the wonderful models that came out in 2023. There are a few models on here that don't even belong in the discussion. But, his list and his video. I still enjoyed seeing these models. Almost Real Pagani Zonda alone smokes every model in here (I have 5 on this list, 2 are the Mines R34 and RX-Vision). Removable wheels, full open, full detail, perfect shut lines, paint application, carbon work, cockpit quality, and materials. Full mesh. Either way, thanks for the effort and your continued mission of showing this wonderful hobby to the people. Merry Christmas, all.
That's fair. You said "My top 10." The article was understandably your personal preference. But most people read "my top 10" as the 10 best, not 10 favorites.... if that makes sense. All good. I like your content and I do business with you regularly. I'm also the guy who backs you up on r/diecast when people come at you for all your hard work and efforts. The only thing I've bought from you that was an huge disappointment was the Works Project Ferrari f50 in black. Promotion photos are so misleading especially the interior shots. Thing goes for almost $500 everywhere but is GT Spirit quality. I'm definitely gonna sell it.
IMO Almost Real's RUF model is one of the best in 2023. So neat and interior is the perfect to match. Recently, got handed Ztune from Autoart and is a definitely must have in 2024. Since the first release of composite i never admired each one of them. But this Ztune is sooooo good.
Hi James! I bought the feed and feed gt3 ignition models from you over the last few years. The attention to detail is incredible. It’s helped me figure out what im still missing for my real car 🥲
That supera looks amazing! Just having the hydraulics for the rear truck (boot) amd bonnet rod I'm sure my twin turbo had front bonnet hydraulics on my real one
so I knew the slightly pearl white paint on my car wasn't going to match the white advan wheels I ordered exactly, and it's good to see that one model got themselves into the same situation with that NSX-R GT
Got the Spoon version of the NSX-R GT in the collection, but missed out on the regular version. However I can call the Top Secret Supra mine and the RX-Vision should arrive in a couple weeks.
Awesome content and great info thanks im gonna continue with 1/64 but might just have to step up and start collecting a few 1/18 those are straight fire 👍
hey could please tell me the dimensions of the mines r34 in inches, H/L/W please just the car alone no the case just dimensions of the actual car please ❤
lol , why is the Kyosho’s F40 is in the list, joke! The model has poor qc, poor paint, paint issues all over the body, paint rash in brand new models, parts where the paint is so thin that you can see the aluminum on the side!
I hear you but trust me, there's something special about the in person look of a high end, beautifully executed resin model. Plus, resin will no doubt outlive diecast.
You must have never owned any. I have some high-end resin models with no opening parts and they look far superior than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I like moving parts, whether it's diecast or composite, but I far more like my resin models. That's just you and this is just me. That's the beauty of model car collecting. There's something for everyone.
I Agree with you brother. If someone truely is a lover of cars, they would anyday prefer an opening model. You can never get enough of details. Resin collectors are more like toy afficianados😂
Merry Christmas, everyone! The 1/64 Top 10 will be coming soon 🎅 🎄
I'm really curious!
Its up now @josefmatejka368

90% of my specialty is in JDM cars. In addition, I did mention this is my personal favorites list.
Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄

Got the number 10 and the number 1 in my collection! Merry Christmas James and to all collectors out there! May all of your collections grow!

For sure, the R34 is making the 2024 list, haha
The Kyosho F40 is a re-release, it's a very old casting, I've had it for many years
Correct just like the #10 item.
as i'm more interested into rally what would be the best 1/18 brand for that ?
Sunstar Models

Haha nice!!! That's one way to know
Bought the FEED GT3 Rx-7, awesome model.
Definitely an awesome one!

These are all fire! But, very expensive. What are some good entry level 18th scale models that are budget friendly? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Solido!
Otto and GT Spirit are pretty good for their price.

LS collectibles are getting some nice bmws and old integras in resin
Otto integra in white all over Eeebay 100 bucks
lol , why is the Kyosho’s F40 is in the list, joke! The model has poor qc, poor paint, paint issues all over the body, paint rash in brand new models, parts where the paint is so thin that you can see the aluminum on the side!
Imagine if LCD Model made a modified Supra big turbo
1/18 without opening features and engine is a disappointment to me.

I am the opposite lol
