I think Bburago owns Miasto. Bburago has been in existence for decades. Miasto 1:18 scale is still selling at Costco prior to Xmas time for USD$17.99 year 2023. Some Miasto models are Bburago if one looks the base of the models. I have been collecting all scales for decades. If I add up the money I spent on them, it will well exceed $10,000!
I've been collecting 1:18 scale diecast models since the early 1990's when my dad got me a Bburago Ferrari F40. I instantly fell in love with these. Many of these "cheap" brands have come a long way in the last 30 years with quality and detail rivaling models costing much more. I used to love a brand called UT because they were near AutoArt quality for a fraction of the price, but they got absorbed into another company. I think my current favorites are AutoArt and Kyosho, but Minichamps, and Norev are right up there. I have well over 200 cars now after 30 years of collecting. Of course, there are always a few cars I want that simply do not exist in 1:18 scale. I really want a 1:18 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T or GS-X in SHOWROOM STOCK form, but so far I have only seen ricers. I tend to prefer cars with opening features over "sealed" resin ones, so unless resin is the only way I can get a certain model, I generally look for an equivalent with opening features. Keep collecting, it is a fun and satisfying hobby!
@Brian Smith After buying cheap Maistos, I changed my mind and now only buy cars with glass on the side door windows. Why? Answer: easier to dust and looks more realistic. I've never parked my real-life cars with windows open, Never.
Yo this is actually sick. I’ve been collecting 1:64 scale model cars(same as hot wheels) and it’s kinda cool how most of the brands are the same. I mostly collect kyosho, mini gt and tarmac models which is nice to see how they are in a larger scale. I’ve had my collection for a long time, going on 7-8 years. I’m actually interested in how you store your models because I have a desk and a glass case dedicated for mine. But I have a lot of models now and I’ve completely ran out of room and I’m looking for some new options.

Yeah, as other comments mentioned, you can buy un-assembled kits at your local Costco or Wal-Mart and they're a fraction of the price. Depending on how patient and skilled you are, you might actually get better panel gap fitment than the pre-assembled ones!

I’m glad this video dropped bc I just purchased 2 model cars and rims for them a few days ago and I can’t wait for my Chevrolet Chevelle Ss to get here Monday
Hey Bladed, I recommend you look into more hotwheels elite models. They are pretty good for the price especially the HWE LaFerrari with the adjustable spoiler.
I totally agree! I would highly recommend the Elite series - I currently own three Ferrari 512's from the Elite collection and they're currently appreciating in value.
The blue Mustang gt 1:18 from maisto was the first maisto I bought on my own(kid). Still have it, currently stripped to be painted again for like the 5th time lol
My dad had a ton of model cars when I was growing up, he still has them but they've been relegated to the loft. I agree with the comment on Maistos though. When I used to look at them and fiddle with them as a kid, tipping it and giving a small shake was all it took to open them. I was always fascinated with the interior details on the models, especially how the steering wheels actually turned the wheels.
aLL wHeeL sTeeRiNG bRo jUsT LiKe a PrEluDe! In reality, the axle was snapped during shipping. They rejected the return request, but since I just use it for display, I could care less about this issue.
Hi bladed! I saw and LOVED the video that you saw that koenigsegg the whole ferrari dealership had so many great hyper cars 😎 Have a great day bladed I'm glad I can join this community!
Regardless if you correcting it,hearing you say “the only Koineggssegg I ever got to saw” cracked me up lmao. Good video man!! **ik I butchered Koineggsegg* spelling please forgive thee 😭
$1k is a lot for model cars, but I kinda can't talk as well. I'm into radio controlled cars and trucks, and these things are expensive! I run smaller scale (1/14 and 1/16), and I have $250+ in one car. Not that much in the RC community, but that's a chunk of change, but it's worth it (lowkey doubled the car price in upgrades).
I’d definitely recommend bburago. Their cars are very high quality and pretty cheap. If you’re gonna build a model car collection and don’t want to spend $300, I’d grab some bburago models.
I have a $300 collection and I bought a blue perforate for $29NZD ($20.30 USD) and it is so well built, no paint overlap, perfect reflection circle and opening frunk, engine and doors. There is no problem with it and I haven't seen 1 that is cheaper and better quality so I think that's the best price you could get a good one for
Nice collection dude! I couldnt help noticing you called the bburago models by bbr, fun fact... there is a italian diecast car brand called bbr, and its the same level of build quality of the autoarts, they have some great looking models, uou should check it out!
One thing to note is that there is actually a diecast manufacturer called BBR that makes mostly Ferraris. For the manufacturer u have just call them Burago.
Lol when he made the all wheel steering joke of the broken Diablo I thought he was serious for a second and I re evaluated everything I knew about the Diablo 😂
I went to a car museum that also had a gift shop. The gift shop had about 35 model cars that were all at least 300 dollars. Those cars were literally the exact replica of the irl cars except that they were little.
I might missed some brands but more or less here's the hierarchy: Ultra high end : Amalgam; the 1/18 scale starts from $800, the 1/8 scale starts from $8000 High end (amazing details) : Exoto & CMC; the 1/18 scale starts from $500-1000 (can go up to $2000 for certain models in secondary market) High end (great details) : BBR, Autoart, DG, etc.; the 1/18 scale starts from $300 Middle end : Hot Wheels Elite, Bburago Signature Low end: Hot Wheels, Bburago
I have 50 maisto cars, and your really correct, the panel gaps are abysmal:( I might look into the higher car brands, as I would love to have a really nice full McLaren and perhaps even aston collection:) thanks for the recommendations
I have a Maisto Camaro SS from 2012, the only way I fixed the hinge problem was taking the whole thing apart (easier than you would expect) and cranking as hard as I can on the hinges, my trunk and passenger door are still kind of loose, but the hood and driver door are tight. I'd recommend about 50 inch pounds of torque on each fastener.
Costco sells the Maisto models for $15 every year before Christmas, saw the ford gt there this year, I buy one each year as a little tradition, ended up going for a 1971 Datsun 240z!
I have a fair few Bburago and Maisto models, they make up most of my 50 or so models and I have no complaints on quality for the price, I have one Kyoto that was a factory reject for minor orange peel on the nose and it looks amazing otherwise. I will say the problem of Maisto cars dropping and cambering without the stands is much less pronounced in the models with more suspension travel, my Pontiac GTO, C1 Corvette and Citroen DS suffer it a lot less than my Diablo SV, C5 Corvette and Ford GT90
Meanwhile the best model car I have are the small die cast ones from chapters. They aren’t bad though, they cost $9 and are pullbacks. Paint is nice and they are very durable.
Started collecting maistos. After a while bought my first Autoart and never went back to Maisto. Most of my collection is now Autoart/Kyosho/Minichamps and absolutely no regrets
same here, started with a decent sized maisto collection for a while but it just got annoying when i started noticing more and more where corners were cut. after a while i sold them all and remembered that autoart and UT was a high end name when i was younger. bought a UT mclaren expecting autoart quality since they were the "old" autoart and was kinda disappointed although the model still looked nice. finally had enough for my first autoart (a skyline r32 with reebok livery) and was BLOWN AWAY at the difference in details, so much so that now i have like 10 of these damn things as well as a 1/43 autoart collection as well lol i avoid the ones that have very few features but still cost more than $120 because i feel like that's way overpriced for what you get. but there's not any other brands that i know of that compare to this level of quality in the same price range. i've basically collected all the ones i wanted that i could also afford and now either have to shell out good money for the super high end or start taking the cheap autoarts that dont catch my eye but still have the "autoart" touch.
I got two 1/38 Diecast Supercar Models from Bargain Hunt today, they looked very good, and each one was only just $4, making it $8 total. I got a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, and a Pagani Huayra BC. They both have functional doors, and are pullback cars. They were so cool that I just had to buy them.
I always love hearing people talk about their hobby so passionately. Tho this made me wonder how much hot wheels car you get for a $1,000 USD (idk their price in their home country). Also, don't tempt me to roll now. Next patch is coming next week and I want that flaming rock star girl.

Weebs: I've spent so much money on anime figures!
Bladed: Hold my 1:18 scale Koenigsegg
lmao perfect timing
weebs are simps
Transformers fans: I spent $1000 on a truck that turns into a robot
G1 Optimus prime does cost $1000 with a box, it is stupid expensive
I remember seeing a Koenigsegg for the first time, it was a top speed edition Agrea RS, such an amazing vehicle.
0:26 Whats up with the Diablo GTR's wheel?

In reality, the axle was snapped during shipping. They rejected the return request, but since I just use it for display, I could care less about this issue.
@@BladedAngel there is something cursed about these diablo's. When i ordered a purple diablo model it came without the front left wheel.
@@mazdamiataUSDMspec wtf😂

Hi bladed! I saw and LOVED the video that you saw that koenigsegg the whole ferrari dealership had so many great hyper cars 😎
Have a great day bladed I'm glad I can join this community!
Regardless if you correcting it,hearing you say “the only Koineggssegg I ever got to saw” cracked me up lmao. Good video man!!
**ik I butchered Koineggsegg* spelling please forgive thee 😭
It's koenigsegg
THAT is without a doubt the coolest model car collection I've ever seen.
“You have no idea how much I had to chase this girl...” - Bladed Angel
$1k is a lot for model cars, but I kinda can't talk as well. I'm into radio controlled cars and trucks, and these things are expensive! I run smaller scale (1/14 and 1/16), and I have $250+ in one car. Not that much in the RC community, but that's a chunk of change, but it's worth it (lowkey doubled the car price in upgrades).
Now spend some more on anime figures and you’ll be set as a car weeb.
i can see that him getting some figma figures

@@Dackered what?
If you have a membership to Sam’s club or Costco, you can get the 1/18 Maisto model cars for 14$. Amazing deal there
this video hits different after the fh3 vid...
That Zonda Cinque and Divo looks nice! When I was 10 it was a dream to have realistic model car.
The sad part of the “carbon fibre” on the koenigsegg is actually plastic so that’s sad
Real carbon weaves won't mach model cars
@@steve-k.91 And it cost a lot more to produce
Great video! I got into the older jada toys option d and import racer models in 1/18, love the jdm.
Auto art makes their models with a plastic type material that’s why it’s so light and the Maisto are pure diecast
I've always been a Maisto guy
I’d definitely recommend bburago. Their cars are very high quality and pretty cheap. If you’re gonna build a model car collection and don’t want to spend $300, I’d grab some bburago models.
I have a maisto and my henges are also loose
I have a $300 collection and I bought a blue perforate for $29NZD ($20.30 USD) and it is so well built, no paint overlap, perfect reflection circle and opening frunk, engine and doors. There is no problem with it and I haven't seen 1 that is cheaper and better quality so I think that's the best price you could get a good one for
Bladed: *shows model collection*
Me: *looks at my 3 boxes of hot wheels* Amateur
*I swear I did not get all those hot wheels from goodwill
Nice collection dude! I couldnt help noticing you called the bburago models by bbr, fun fact... there is a italian diecast car brand called bbr, and its the same level of build quality of the autoarts, they have some great looking models, uou should check it out!
Look at Bladed subtly flexing his Genshin account in the background.
Bburagos are awesome! I have three 1:18 models and 1:43 model and I must say, the quality for the price is outstanding!
When you buy AUTOart models:
Models: exist
Wallet: gone, reduced to atoms, never to be seen again
The AutoArt Koenigsegg is lighter because AutoArt models are made out of plastic (composite) for a few years, while the Bburago is diecast.
anyone notice all those pill bottles in the background
One thing to note is that there is actually a diecast manufacturer called BBR that makes mostly Ferraris. For the manufacturer u have just call them Burago.
Damn I need this in my life
Lol when he made the all wheel steering joke of the broken Diablo I thought he was serious for a second and I re evaluated everything I knew about the Diablo 😂
genshi impact, man ily
I went to a car museum that also had a gift shop. The gift shop had about 35 model cars that were all at least 300 dollars. Those cars were literally the exact replica of the irl cars except that they were little.
Does anyone happen to know a supplier for a scale (any scale, including railway scales) Mk3 Mazda2? (3 door if possible)
I thought not *sad noises*
Search item number "174087838684" on ebay. It's from Hong Kong. 1/43 Scale. Looks good. Kinda pricey though.
Mans got the best claymore in the game while I'm here with 2 skyward spines as my only 5-star item/characters

@@dumb2smartd376 but we already know he shows it in the end of the video
I might missed some brands but more or less here's the hierarchy:
Ultra high end : Amalgam; the 1/18 scale starts from $800, the 1/8 scale starts from $8000
High end (amazing details) : Exoto & CMC; the 1/18 scale starts from $500-1000 (can go up to $2000 for certain models in secondary market)
High end (great details) : BBR, Autoart, DG, etc.; the 1/18 scale starts from $300
Middle end : Hot Wheels Elite, Bburago Signature
Low end: Hot Wheels, Bburago
But bladed wheres the miata
Im serious
Dang, you beat me to it.
I want someone to send bladed a Miata diecast so we can finally get an answer to the age-old question.
I bought my first auto art about a year ago (blu Cepheus centenario) and I was absolutely blown away with the quality, 100% would recommend
Next video : I spent 1000$ on genshin waifus
I have 50 maisto cars, and your really correct, the panel gaps are abysmal:( I might look into the higher car brands, as I would love to have a really nice full McLaren and perhaps even aston collection:) thanks for the recommendations
"I'm someone who values quality over quantity" and then shows the cheapest model car brands. The only quality brand in this vid was Autoart.
Bruh
Ok
Okay?
I have a Maisto Camaro SS from 2012, the only way I fixed the hinge problem was taking the whole thing apart (easier than you would expect) and cranking as hard as I can on the hinges, my trunk and passenger door are still kind of loose, but the hood and driver door are tight. I'd recommend about 50 inch pounds of torque on each fastener.
19:38 disgusting
I have a Murci from BBR, a Porsche GT3 RS 4.0 from BBR and a Ferrari F50 from Maisto.
I really like the F50 for realistic suspension
Will you send a Koenigsegg One:1 to me?
👉👈🥺
Costco sells the Maisto models for $15 every year before Christmas, saw the ford gt there this year, I buy one each year as a little tradition, ended up going for a 1971 Datsun 240z!
He playing genshin impact 😂
Dude you are a car guy mood. I swears yo. Also forget the whole SSC controversy rn they got most of us
We’re you playing Genshin impact
0:26 is nobody going to talk about that Diablo s tire
amazing collection. I like miniature models a lot, i have a bugatti atlantic and a viper, also have some bikes and planes as well.
This is crazy kuz I was just in offer up about to spend 100 on a 1:18. This was helpful.
My maisto had loose hinges. I didn't research so I didn't know about that but I was able to return it.
I always love hearing people talk about their hobby so passionately. Tho this made me wonder how much hot wheels car you get for a $1,000 USD (idk their price in their home country).
Also, don't tempt me to roll now. Next patch is coming next week and I want that flaming rock star girl.
