Interesting theory. I find the styling of the 55-56 Ford and Chevy to be equally timeless, but the small block is an all around better motor and I believe much of the tri 5 success is the 45 year longevity of the sbc .
@@TriStarGearhead Im past 70 and back in the day I bought many 55 and 56 fords for less than $100, And always swapped in a FE, A 352 with a stick and 411 gears . I could give the 327 chevys a good race. We still have a 55 two dr ranch wagon. And We have a 1962 T Bird 390 engine thats slated to reside in the wagon. We have video on our channel.
This thing is awesome! We should do a project car challenge this spring.
I wanna enter Brian in this spring contest to clean up the Dodge.
@@karissapeel1390 not quite ready to tackle that one. I think the vette or blazer. Power tour?
I think the 3 dude car challenge is a winning formula!
That's really neat.👍😎. Good luck with it ,hope you get carb ,etc sorted and best wishes from jolly old England 👍😎Pete 🤓
My opinion if Ford had came out with the FE in 1955 the tri five chevys would not be as popular as they are today.
