i felt bad for bluepen starting so late
YOOOO!! So cool to finally see DCK3 represented at GDQ again. I love how casual Void was commenting on these runners doing like four double frame perfect tricks in a row lol. I've been running the DKC trilogy for a year now and the 3rd one has always been my fave. I hope to see some love for warpless runs in the future. Great Job Runners!! :)

I was so hype when I saw this video get uploaded and saved it for later cause I really enjoy the races done at gdq. Now I'm quite disappointed that agdq 2023 was an online event again... it's just not the same

Was there a sync issue, or did bluepen totally get shafted at the start of the timer?
Entertaining race nonetheless.
I think maybe the stream wasn't synced since the announcer said something like "all three players went for x" before it happened on bluepen's screen
They had separate timers if you notice the individual final times at the end.
Where should we begin? Amazing game playing, each of these contenders are skilled, punctional, and loved in the Nintendo community! Thanks for playing and sharing, with us! We've been doing our best in donkey Kong country since we were kids knowing the game existed, after watching them, we've become impressed or surprised about the game in general. GDQ we found another one! Or a few more!!

Keep in mind whenever you hear, "damage boost," he means invincibility frames. There's a difference.

Not enough credit is given to the soundtracks for these games
Cool run and all, but these races lose their charm when there's no crowd. Maybe it's just me, but I don't find them as enjoyable.
Yeah… I hate to say it, but a big part of the charm is seeing/hearing the audience react to the run.
